The twenty-eighth episode of the first season of Sonic Boom.
When Swifty the Shrew arrives at the Unnamed Village, he wins the hearts of everyone, except for Sonic, whose status as the village's biggest hero is threatened. Sonic challenges Swifty to a race, where the winner will receive the rights to brag whenever he wants, but the loser has to leave town forever. Swifty wins the race and Sonic is banished, at which point Dr. Eggman reveals that not only is Swifty a robot, but one of many he built as part of his plan to turn the Unnamed Village into an amusement park run by him.

Gil: I told you, I have irritable bowl syndrome! - Dub-Induced Plot Hole: In the Russian dub, Dave agrees to let Sonic return instead of objecting, but still holds up his hand when Fink asks if anyone objects.
- Expy: Swifty bears a remarkable resemblance to Manic from Sonic Underground, what with his green fur, laid-back attitude, hoverboard, and Totally Radical lingo.
- Eye Scream: When Sonic and Swifty race to save Chumley, sparks from a firecracker that Swifty picks up get in Sonic's eyes.
- Loser Leaves Town: Sonic challenges Swifty to a foot race around the village, with banishment as punishment for the loser. Sonic thinks his superior speed won him the race, but he soon finds out that Swifty had already beaten him to the finish line. Or rather, a Swifty crossed the line first, as Eggman reveals he'd built an army of Swifty the Shrews just to mess with Sonic.
- Mythology Gag: Eggman's evil plan in this episode is to build his own amusement park.
- O.O.C. Is Serious Business: This exchange when Amy and Sticks are talking about Swifty:Sticks: If he ever visited me, I'd disable all my booby traps.
Amy: You never disable your booby traps.
Sticks: I know! - Ow, My Body Part!: Sonic screams "Ow, my retinas!" when sparks from a firecracker get in his eyes.
- Ringer Ploy: Swifty manages to beat Sonic in a race around Unnamed Village, resulting in Sonic getting banished. It is later revealed that Swifty is a robot created by Dr. Eggman, and Eggman used an army of identical robots to help Swifty win the race as part of his plan to take over Unnamed Village.
- Robotic Reveal: After Sonic is banished from the Unnamed Village, Dr. Eggman reveals that Swifty is not only a robot, but one of many as part of his plan to get Sonic banished so he won't interfere with his evil plan to turn the Unnamed Village into an amusement park run by him.
- Souvenir Land: After Eggman successfully gets Sonic banished and reveals his evil plan to build an amusement park, Amy questions if it even qualifies as evil, with Knuckles adding it might also create jobs. Eggman justifies it with the full list of these tropes.Eggman: In my theme park empire, your entire village will be forced to wait in long lines, buy overpriced merch, and eat week-old turkey legs covered in... preservatives.
(the crowd screams) - Sticky Situation: While Sonic and Swifty race to save Chumley, Swifty knocks over a bucket of glue, which Sonic steps in, sticking him in place and allowing Swifty to trap him in a net while he saves Chumley.
- Straying Baby: Chumley walks across a precarious ledge and is in danger of falling. Swifty rushes to the rescue and saves Chumley, while Sonic makes a fool of himself trying.
- Take That!:
- Swifty acts like a less than subtle parody of the Totally Radical interpretations of Sonic used in the nineties. Amusingly, the Sonic of this universe finds him unbearable.
- When Eggman announces his theme park, he quickly puts up a statue of him and Swifty holding hands. Combined with his statement about creating a Souvenir Land with the slogan "It all started with a shrew", it becomes clear that he wants to make Disney World.
- True Companions: While Sonic's friends are initially taken in by Swifty's coolness like the rest of the village, but once the bet for the race is made and Swifty starts actively insulting Sonic, they all loyally stand on Sonic's side, with Amy telling Swifty to Get Out! and Tails slamming the door behind him.
- That Came Out Wrong: This exchange between Swifty and Tails after Sonic challenges Swifty to a race:Swifty: Man, can you believe that guy? What a lameoid!
Tails: That lameoid is my best friend! That didn't come out right.
