Hate sites were always doomed to fail. The only thing that can make someone hate a franchise with total certainty is the franchise itself. The IPs geolocate to the same city, but they're altogether different...getting more input.
Edited by WillbyrBoth their troper pages have almost the same description, saying along the lines of "Filler text so my name would appear blue instead of red."
ᜇᜎᜈ᜔ᜇᜈ᜔|I DO COMMISSIONS|ᜇᜎᜈ᜔ᜇᜈ᜔Bump. He just blew his top the same way Scumbagman did after I deleted his edits, and now I'm more sure than ever that these two are the same people.
Edited by Sammettik Hate sites were always doomed to fail. The only thing that can make someone hate a franchise with total certainty is the franchise itself.By "blew his top" he means I posted a thread on him:

As I said there, even if I could prove I'm not him, I don't have the time to do that. You believe me, you don't, whatever.
But let's not gloss over what Sammerttik is doing, he's trying to enforce his opinions and make sure ones he disagrees with do not get represented. I don't think that should be overlooked whether you believe I'm this Scum Bag guy or not.
Edited by TheMasterChandBan evasion is a FAR more serious subject than "disagreeing with others".
- You have same editing-focus.
- You have the same profile description.
- You live in the same city.
- You made an Unintentionally Unsympathetic example that's near-identical.
I have not even bothered arguing against it, because even if it's possible to pull evidence that would debunk that, I do not have the time to do so. Yes, it sure looks damning, I've not argued that.
It still wouldn't absolve you of opinion policing YMMV pages and injecting your opinions into character pages. Maybe stop trying to distract with points no one is arguing with you about, and instead address your own problems. Tell me how others evading bans, real or imagined, makes ANYTHING you're doing wrong, not wrong.
You're edit warring with others, and policing opinions, but someone else evaded a ban, stop the presses, it's fine now?
Edited by TheMasterChandAnd just a reminder: edit warring can lead to suspensions which may be appealed, but confirmed ban evasion means a permanent ban without appeal.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.I had the time to do so.
Whatever the mods decide on my "issues" I'll accept it, no contest. In fact, I think I'm going to swear off Zelda pages for a whole month or two after this given all the stress they've given me lately. All I care about now is putting away a ban-evader.
Hate sites were always doomed to fail. The only thing that can make someone hate a franchise with total certainty is the franchise itself. Here's the thing Chand. Even if you're not a ban evader, you're a bit to blasé about the concept. Ban Evasion is a serious issue as far as we're concerned- ban evaders make no attempt to learn about or fix their mistakes and instead decide to just get around it. 9/10 times, they go right back to doing what got them banned in the first place.
It's definitely a bit more serious of an issue than a dispute about examples. I'm not saying Sammettik is 100% in the right here because they're getting pretty aggressive and there's always the chance they're the one in the wrong here, but you do need to understand the gravity of the situation.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessThe thing is, I can't prove it. There's no point in arguing it. It's true, the stuff people have pointed out looks pretty bad, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't believe me, so why bother arguing the point?
IF I look through both histories, I MAY find evidence that this was cherry picking leading to some admittedly weird coincidences, but I'm not sure what it would take to debunk what's been presented, even I have to admit it looks stark.
That said, while I can't prove that, I'll at least be happy if the stuff Sammerttik is doing gets addressed.
This Ask is not about what I'm doing. I stopped responding to your Ask because I realized I'd just be making myself look real petty. Much like you are with your constant "Whataboutism".
Edited by Sammettik Hate sites were always doomed to fail. The only thing that can make someone hate a franchise with total certainty is the franchise itself.^^ Actually, if you're ban evader, then it's more likely that we'll undo all of your edit.
^^^You keep saying that there's "no reason to prove [you] are not a ban-evader", and to me that makes you even more suspicious of ban evading.
"Unite GUN/BAZOOKA/LAUNCHER/TANK!"What. That's not how this works, Spidey. By default everyone is presumed to not be a ban evader, so there really is no reason for The Master Chand to prove anything to us. IF they get suspended they will get a chance to plead their case to the mods (assuming that they don't get outright bounced). Until then can we drop this conversation and let the mods handle it?
Yeah, this back-and-forth just looks petty at this point, and we shouldn't make things worse by trying to incriminate Chand ourselves (I personally understand there's reason for suspicion, especially since they kind of implied above that ban evasion did happen, but it's a serious accusation to throw around, especially with logic like "if you have no reason to prove you're a ban evader, that makes us suspicious of you being one" that really kind of applies to anybody). I think once the mods figure out what's going on, the query should be locked.

You can only write so much in your forum signature. It's not fair that I want to write a piece of writing yet it will cut me off in the midBumping yet again for mods to notice-it appears the offending troper may or may not have admitted to ban evasion.
TRS Queue | Works That Require Cleanup Of Complaining | Troper WallFWIW, the mods have admitted they sometime overlook longer threads. Having a long discussion on these things don't usually help the issues get noticed.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessI think WarJay77 have a point.
Edited by Bubblepig “Boom! Boomboom! Boomboomboom! Bakuage Tire! Gogogo!"Yeah I get that. I was just hoping the mods would notice because the troper being discussed might have admitted to being a ban evader, and I was concerned about that. I will cease replying to avoid possibly making this look longer.

No, no new threads on this issue. I've asked for input because it's not clear enough for me to grab the banhammer straightaway. And getting input takes time.

I have reason to suspect that The Master Chand is ScumBagMan. He focuses on many of the same works (Catherine, Mega Man, Xexyz, Godzilla, Mass Effect, and Star Trek) and the Unintentionally Unsympathetic example he added to The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening is suspiciously similar to the one Scum Bag Man added back in 2019. Compare.
Scum Bag Man's example: "One may forgive it for not saving the Nightmares, but more than a little harsh that it lets even those had nothing to do with their schemes die as well. Leaving the guy who saves him stranded in the ocean and clinging to driftwood isn't particularly nice either."
The Master Chand's example: "You can forgive him for letting the Nightmares die, self-preservation motives or not, but the general residents of the island are harder to overlook. There's also the issue of leaving the guy who just saved his bacon stranded in the ocean clinging to driftwood."
