Your mama may have had eyes in the back of her head, but our admin team just can't see everything at once. It takes a village to make sure TVTropes is running the way it should, so when it comes to spotting tech snafus, dreaming up a better digital mousetrap, or just diagnosing plain old asshattery, the quicker you let us know something's up, the quicker we can address it. See a bug? Point to it and we'll squash it. Have idea for a new feature? Post in the Tech Wishlist.
NOTE: Do not post duplicate bug queries, please check existing queries to see if your issue has already been reported and then comment on it.
This also applies to clicking on folders. (See Wiki Sandbox)
(Also, apparently putting AC markup in a folder title causes it to cut off early)
Yeah, there's use for it. Italics are used for work titles, and escape sequences are used to prevent camel casing from messing up formatting via accidental Wiki Words. See the folders on Literature.Artemis Fowl for examples of both of these, and Wiki Sandbox again for an example of a folder with a camel-cased wiki word in the title.
Although since folder titles are unable to have links in them, it'd make sense to disable wiki-wording in them entirely to eliminate the need for escape sequences. But I digress.
ETA: Oh, and bold is often used on spoiler warnings in folder titles on character pages.

Clicking on a spoiler tag to open/close it doesn't work if the portion you're clicking on is over certain forms of text formatting, including italics, bold, and AC. See Wiki Sandbox for a demonstration at the top.
I already tried clearing my cache.
