Are characters from either series present in your comic? If so, then it would be a fan work or fan fic.

The comic consists entirely of non-fanon characters and is in its own world.

In which case, I think it can be safely moved back to the webcomics page.

I would wait for additional replies before doing anything, though.

If it's just inspired by MLP and doesn't actually take place in that work, then it's fine to move it back to the Webcomics page.

Yeah move it back. It should only be on the Fan Works page if it uses characters from a copyrighted work.
