Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.

As Wikipedia gains popularity, there are more and more Wiki Vandals in modern media. Should the trope be rewritten a bit to allow examples?

Super Saiya Man is throwing personal attacks at nuclearneo577 on the So Bad It's Horrible film page over whether or not a film should be included.
- You must have never seen the actual movie, Nuclear Neo 77. Not that I'm surprised giving your Edit Nazi tendacies.

I'm having a major problem for reasons unknown. I have enabled spoilers to be viewed on my profile settings, but when I go to a page that has spoilers on it I still can't see it. I just got a new antivirus system, could that be the problem? If not, how the heck do I fix this?

Regarding bluelinking and punctuation
Should I do "this" or "this"? This: Apples, bananas, oranges... or this: Apples, bananas, oranges...

Since Big-Lipped Alligator Moment has the YMMV disclaimer/banner, shouldn't BLAM Episode have it too?

Is there such a thing as a community namespace? I've seen it several times, and it worked really well: cleaned man page and ymmv from those memetic mutations and other similar tropes, so that main page had objective tropes, ymmv had subjective tropes, community page had tropes within the fandom community. Also the page covered notable and influential Internet resources on the subject. But I haven't seen it being mentioned on the Namespace index

I've seen Pinwheels used in several Anime to indicate that something spooky is going on, or about to happen. Examples include normally non-spooky shows like Aria. Does anybody know what significance Pinwheels, especially pinwheels turning without apparent wind, might have in the Japanese culture?

There a guideline for creating specific Memetic Mutation pages? I was thinking of making one for the Angry Marines (or would it fall under fanfic?).

Another chap on the bad grammar train - blind_dead_mcjones, who seems to have persistent problems with punctuation and capitalisation, among other things.

The people on the Award Snub discussion page are whining at the examples purge.

Are users allowed to add 'new' tropes? If so, how? (I only just joined a while ago, I'm not yet familiar with procedure and such)
I thought a good one would be 'I'm So Confused'. It's the literary gimmick where slash/gay fiction writers take a character who was solidly straight. Then some formidable gay character forces a gay kiss on the straight person. And after that one kiss alone, the straight character starts going gay and eventually does go gay. And the phrase 'I'm so confused...' often comes up in some form or other.

nuckythompson91 is another one who's bad at grammar and capitalizes random words.
New grammar horror identified: Random Chaos. PM'ed. Waiting for reply. Edit: Okay, that didn't go well. Ban applied.
