Basic Trope: Being punched/thrown/etc. through a window.
- Straight: Flash Young, after savagely bouncing the local slimeball Tommy Sharpe like a basketball, grabs him and hurls him out the window of his Executive Suite at the very top of the skyscraper, sending him plummeting down a Disney Villain Death (If the glass shards from the not-so-Soft Glass don't kill him, then the fall sure as hell will).
- Exaggerated:
- Flash sends Tommy through a window, causing him to crash into another window, roll out the other side, and fall through the other window as well, repeat ad nauseum.
- Flash sends the SWAT team through the window once they make it up.
- Downplayed:
- Flash opens the window first, and THEN throws Tommy out. It's from the first floor, too.
- Flash does this to Tommy's furniture instead.
- Justified:
- Flash wants to dispose of Tommy before the SWAT team that was called up reaches the top floor.
- Flash hates Tommy and wants him to die a painful, horrible death.
- Inverted: Flash does this to himself in a Super Window Jump in order to escape the SWAT team.
- Subverted: Flash slams Tommy against the window... Which does nothing to him.
- Double Subverted: Flash tries again, and then Tommy is sent crashing through the window with severe lacerations.
- Parodied: Flash does this as his go-to method of solving things.
- Zig-Zagged: The window initially doesn't break on the first try, smashes into itty bitty pieces on the second one but Tommy doesn't go through, and then Flash finally throws Tommy out with success.
- Averted: Flash doesn't do this.
- Enforced: Rule of Cool.
- Lampshaded: "He won't be getting up from that anytime soon."
- Invoked: Flash needs a way to get rid of Tommy's battered up body before the SWAT team reaches the top floor. Hmmm, that window looks real smashable right now...
- Exploited: It's a perfect way of disposing a battered up body.
- Defied: Flash refuses to throw Tommy through the window for whatever reason.
