General
- Everyone and the love they show to their pets; even the most cynical and hard-hearted pirates are shown to have a soft spot for their companion animal of choice, should they have one.

The Denholm Brothers
- Day 3: The brothers' reconciliation is an armful of heartwarming scenes in the same livestream.
- Scott going out of his way to make an apple pie for Acho, knowing that it was stars favourite. Later, Acho is seen storing away the pie with the rest of his valuables before going questing.
- Having obtained his first firearms, Tubbo sees Acho passing by and decides he wants to test out his gun on star. Scott is having none of this, first verbally dissuading him from shooting that one particular Nightingale, and when that fails, jumping in front of the gun. Fortunately, Tubbo eventually decides to stand down.
- Later in the livestream, Acho directly reaches out to Scott to meet star at the Nightingale base. At the docks, Acho apologizes for having previously blamed Scott for star being constantly overshadowed growing up, acknowledging the Parental Favoritism wasn't his fault. Acho also entrusts Scott with the secret that star joined up with rogue pirates in the year star was away, despite its taboo status on the Isles and the two's upbringing, and returns the favour from earlier by giving Scott some pumpkin pie and a cake.
- After a brief interruption from Kuervo, Acho asks for Scott's help to bring stars new dog Dipper back to the Faction Isles, which, aside from the obvious fact that Dipper is an adorable dog, has plenty of sweet moments:
- cc!Scott naming the temporary voice chat "Bro time".
- After being too far to communicate with each other anymore, Scott asks Dipper to take care of Acho for him.
- After their return to the Isles, the two have a mutual Platonic Declaration of Love, with Scott doing so openly and Acho responding when his brother's out of earshot.
- Day 29: Despite being vocally against the other Nightingales informing any Herons about seeing phantom-Aimsey on the petrified island, the moment Acho meets up with Scott later that day (about 15 minutes later in the livestream), both of them immediately confide in each other about their encounters with phantom-Aimsey. Really does showcase your hatred for the Heron faction with that.
- Day 36:
- The first person Acho trusts with stars plan to get lassoed in to loot the Whirlpool is Scott. Even the resultant conversation about Scott's Skewed Priorities of valuing his lasso over his brother's life sounds like typical sibling banter.
- After this, Owen steps up to take on lasso duty, and is the first to get swept into the Whirlpool, dragging a lassoed Acho down with her. Scott's reaction? Jump into the Whirlpool behind them. In his words, "I'm not losing my brother again."
- Following the earthquake in the underground city, the two brothers are split into separate groups and almost immediately try to seek each other out again.
- Day 75: After Scott gets captured, Acho's near-first reaction is to give chase and threaten to take on an entire base of Cultists to get him back. The fact that Apo, resident reckless Blood Knight of the Nightingales, has to stop the normally more level-headed Acho from fighting someone else head-on is a testament to how much star cares about stars loved ones.
- Day 132: Doubles as Tear Jerker; both of the brothers loving each other dearly enough to have a More Hero than Thou scene when it's revealed one of them has to die for the other to escape.
- Day 134: Scott chatting with Acho in the stars and deciding to leave the Faction Isles in their memory at the end of the series.
Chapter 1: Days 1–36
- Day 1:
- Any time someone is friendly to the Recruitment Officer, who is clearly lonely and feeling left out for being a Factionless pirate on the Faction Isles.
- While she's described to be very elitist, Guqqie quickly offers to take Ros under her wing even though Ros never receives an offer from the Kestrels, and recommends her to join the Nightingales after hearing about her motivation for sailing to the Faction Isles.
- Scar's delighted surprise at finding Jellie in the Town Center tavern and bringing her down to meet everyone else, who equally react with joy.
- In a private moment together, Aimsey and Guqqie meet up to discuss their relationship, with Guqqie deciding she doesn't want to hide the relationship anymore and declaring she wants to buy an island for the two to live.
- Speaking of them, Aimsey in general is a walking, talking Heartwarming Moment, promising Apo a sparring session once they return from the server-wide quest and being all-round friendly to just about everyone regardless of faction, even if they are privately cynical towards some of the newcomers' odds of survival.
- Day 3: Everyone instantly cooing over Dipper at first sight, whether it be on the server itself or via social media.ggacho_: i feel it's necessary to introduce you all to p!acho's first pet on #PiratesSMP so everyone meet Dipper :D

apokuna_: can i give him a bone? 🙏 - Day 5: In a moment of Bread, Eggs, Milk, Squick, Acho asks for Jeffery the bard NPC to compose a poem about being unable to meet one's family's expectations. Jeffery's response has a surprisingly uplifting ending.But I am not a puppet, controlled by their desires,
I have my own dreams, my own inner fires.
In the face of disappointment, I rise and I stand,
Embracing my true self, creating my own brand.
For I am not defined by the expectations - Day 10:
- Upon finding Cruppy's name is on the Bounty board, Kyle advises it to close its eyes and reassures that he won't let anyone hurt it.
- Cruppy repeatedly snuggling up to Kyle whenever he's trying to skip the night.
- Day 15:
- While Martyn the character hates Cruppy with every fibre of his being, cc!Martyn decides to drop the act and play nice for a few minutes in his livestream because he found out his daughter Amelia's watching.
- Apo trying to protect Ros in the Bounty Hall by attempting to dissuade Martyn from taking out the bounty on her, then calling him messed up for deliberately picking on her for being "squirmy" and likely to beg for her life and advising Ros to run as Martyn actually picks up the bounty.
- Day 18:
- Will and Ros immediately striking up a friendship after the former's return to the Faction Isles.
- Water's dates with Jeffery, ending with her proposing to him. He accepts!
- Day 26: Due to being forced to leave the Corrupted Island behind by his faction-mates, Scott leaves some beef stew for phantom-Aimsey in fear they would starve there.
- Day 31: While being attacked by mobs in the middle of a storm, Sausage extends an invitation to phantom-Aimsey that they can hitch a ride home to the Faction Isles in his ship if they want to.
- Day 36:
- Michela's dedication and loyalty to Aimsey due to them being Childhood Friends. Even when given the option to not go, she refuses to give up on them and goes on the server-wide quest to find them. This only makes Michela releasing the corruption from the Ice Wall in an attempt to get Aimsey back all the more tragic, especially since she does not, in fact, get Aimsey back.
- All the pirates awake forming a search party for Aimsey and Guqqie in general: the Kestrels and Kites are determined to get their lost crew back, and even if the Herons and Nightingales don't have faction loyalty driving them, they're still willing to go on the quest as well, whether it's out of genuine concern for fellow Faction Isles residents or just to accompany their crew.
Chapter 2: Days 36–77
- Day 36:
- After the earthquake in the underground city, Kuervo takes the time to keep track and make sure everyone that went on the search mission made it out alive.
- Kuervo comforting Graecie that Will is fine after they're separated in the earthquake, and later after her breakdown after their return to the Isles.
- Will and Graecie's reunion after being separated in the earthquake.
- Day 48: Sausage's Declaration of Protection for Ros, saying that if Mufasa shows up again, she should call for him, "not because I wanna protect you or anything and make sure you're safe". While he claims his motivation is to try and rob Mufasa of their Sabertooth riches, the fact he plans to inflict a Humiliation Conga on them to Make an Example of Them (if not a Cruel and Unusual Death outright) makes it sound like cash money isn't actually the main motivator here and it's still pretty sweet, albeit in a morally questionable way.
- Day 62: One of Martyn's boot rats biting him awake when he starts to drift off from the effects of the treasure's curse; the rats might be up to all sorts of antics like Filching Food for Fun, but be it video game or not, it's clear that they care deeply for their captain.
- Day 73: Ros building a house around Sausage to try and protect him while he's being petrified on Monkey Island; later, it's also canonized that Ros read him bedtime stories while there.
- Day 75:
- Bek frantically searching for Dai after they go missing, though she ends up getting kidnapped as Dai was being used as bait for her.
- Acho trusting Apo with the knowledge of stars fraternal relationship with Scott, which is especially notable given Acho's notable reticence to anything about stars past and having previously wanted to keep their dynamic a secret out of fear that knowledge of it would be used to hurt star.
- Day 76: The entire Rescue Arc in general. Hear that your friends have gone missing? Go in to save them, without a shadow of a doubt! The reunion of both groups are just as affectionate as one may expect, minus the obvious Tear Jerker factor of the Nightingales mourning their faction leader.
Chapter 3: Days 77–112
- Day 77:
- Several of the pirates gathering in for a Group Hug to help Owen warm up when it takes him much longer than usual to recover from the Cultists' ice attack.Owen: I've kinda always wanted this. This is crazy [that] this is actually coming true.
- The cast paying their respects to the fallen.
- Kuervo boarding up Hook's old fishing shop, declaring it off-limits out of respect for it.
- Apo building a memorial for Marnie under the Nightingale base.
- Marnie posthumously declaring her pride and faith in Graecie, saying It Has Been an Honor to get to know her, and appointing her as her successor as the Nightingale faction leader.
- Several of the pirates gathering in for a Group Hug to help Owen warm up when it takes him much longer than usual to recover from the Cultists' ice attack.
- Day 79:
- Despite not knowing Sausage very well, Water immediately gets concerned when Sausage starts screaming in the in-game chat, and derails her plans and returns to Monkey Island to check on the place he was last seen. She also leaves him some armour, food, and gold in case anything happens.
- Jojo facing her aquaphobia to visit Marnie's memorial, which is hidden by an underwater passageway behind the Nightingales' waterfall.
- Day 93: When the cast are told to sacrifice something important to them to venture further into the Golden Isle, many of them choose to give up something Ros gave them because she's their friend and they value that friendship.
Chapter 4: Days 112–134
- Day 112:
- Half of the server begging for Owen to stay on the Isles, despite her insistence that she should leave and flee for her life.
- Ros and Scott swearing to protect Cruppy.
- Day 125: Water's wedding speech and vows… when discounting the Tempting Fate at the very end.Water: Since the day we met, I knew I needed to know you. I wanted to hear your deepest thoughts. I wanted to listen to your poems and your songs. I would find excuses to walk through town just to see you and ask about your latest works. Your very presence was intoxicating to me. It still is. I hope the people who couldn't be here today will look down towards us from the stars and smile. We're blessed by the waves to have met and I can only hope that for the rest of the days, we will love each other just as we do now. I promise to love you forever, every day, of our slice of forever. A true love that is unending. Till death do us part.
- Day 126: Despite Apo's disagreeable state and her own sternness throughout the entire conversation, Graecie is still able to remain patient and steadfast with him without losing her cool. Too bad Apo takes it as him getting all but outright kicked out of the faction.Graecie: Just because you've given up on us doesn't mean that we're giving up on you. Got it?
- Day 128: Acho talking Apo down from attempted murder, then risking stars life to dive after Apo to save him.
- Day 132:
- Acho's close friendship with the late Mahara, with them being close enough to essentially be platonic soulmates and star considering him stars home.
- The Sun God's Last Request to Martyn before helping him destroy the L.O.O.T. Shard and going into hibernation is to ask for him to look out for the other pirates in his absence.
- Day 134:
- The Sun God using the last remnant of their strength to free Sausage from the Whispers' control.
- Ros and Sausage exchanging gifts, with Ros giving a silver amulet and bracelet and Sausage giving two of his prized possessions, his blood bucket retrieved from the Sabertooth tavern and his first-ever, heirloom cobra-skin flute.
- Graecie promising to look out for Scott after finding out about Acho's Heroic Sacrifice.
- Sausage swearing to protect Cruppy with his life before Take Two of the Cultist battle.
- Doubles as Awesome; Cruppy using TNT to blow up the cage imprisoning Ivy.
- The fact that the pirates' love for each other and Cruppy manage to allow Ivy to have enough hope to hold off the Corruption for long enough to perform a Heroic Sacrifice (via both herself and Cruppy) to end the Corruption, once and for all.
- Sausage promising to take care of Jellie in Scar's extended absence, even bringing her to search for treasure across the realms with him and his uncle post-canon.
YouTube-exclusive
- Luanne convincing Owen to return to the Isles to check in on things and be Back for the Finale because the denizens of the Isles weren't sticking by him out of obligation, but because they genuinely cared about him and wanted to.
