Moby Dick, or 2010: Moby Dick is a modern film adaptation of Herman Melville's novel of the same name produced by The Asylum, starring Barry Bostwick as Captain Ahab.
In 1969, Ahab survived an attack by a white whale at the cost of losing his leg. This experience drives him to someday acquire the resources to hunt down Moby Dick and take revenge against the creature.
In the present day, marine researcher Dr. Michelle Herman and her assistant Pip are brought aboard the USS Pequod by Ahab because of her research into whales under claims of wanting to stop the attacks. Meanwhile, Captain Boomer (another survivor) is summoned to investigate the latest activities concerning the Pequod, which leads him to realize Ahab is on the hunt for the white whale.
As the white whale attacks any vessel that crosses its path, Captain Ahab is driven to stop at nothing to see Moby Dick dead...or die trying to seek his vengeance.
