From left to right, top to bottom: Prosperity "Perry" Pherali, Monotony "Mona" Impuda Khepriss'sera, Avianna d'Amaer, Joren d'Ashenfoot, Rylan Silverleaf

The continent of Khorhen has seen the rise and fall of many powerful entities—some who rose to power to practice good and those who opposed them, their goals focused on selfish-gain and the ruination of a fighting world. A fraction of them fell in between.

The Good Fraction, in particular, came from both humble and not-so-humble beginnings. Some stumbling the streets in poverty and some stumbling through warped portals in the woods. The Good Fraction’s threads came together at a noblewoman’s funeral, their first job to investigate her suspicious death. In doing so, they uncovered a plot larger than themselves—and have continued to stumble upon dark and intricate mysteries and persons ever since.

A party of five adventurers, The Good Fraction have bested demons and devils, hags and hydras, and even the occasional dragon. Their adventures have led them beneath mountains and across planes and even back home. And in encountering each and every new challenge, these young adventurers have uncovered pieces of themselves, learning bit by bit how the fragments of themselves fit not only together, but within a tumultuous continent on the brink of great change.

The series in general provides examples of:

  • Aw, Look! They Really Do Love Each Other: with Avianna and... just about every member of TGF, actually, but especially Perry and Joren
  • Beach Episode: TGF got a nice vacation in the Fowling Isles after they defeated a dragon and rescued Mona's mentor, Ric, from the prison island
  • Berserk Button: maybe don't imply that Avi won't be able to bring her wife back, or threaten Mona's party members in her presence...
  • Breaking Out the Boss: rescuing Ric from The Isle of the Dead
  • Chekhov's Gun: the literal gun (aka hand cannon) Perry has in their possession seems to be relevant on multiple occasions...
  • Genre Savvy: "they're SCARECROWS, KT! we're GENRE SAVVY!!!"
  • Plot-Triggering Death: Heliar's "death" kicked off the campaign, and Joren's dather's death kicked off the Fowlingville arc
  • Star-Crossed Lovers: Sa'Lia and Sylros. or at least, they were. now, though...
  • Weapon of X-Slaying: hag-slaying arrows and bolt, which FINALLY got rid of the coven targeted TGF during the Fowlingville arc
  • Weather Manipulation: one of the hags flash-froze Fowlingville
  • Will-o'-the-Wisp: the little entities that Rylan, Perry, and Joren followed to a little cottage where they were able to bring Avianna back from the dead
  • Underestimating Badassery: when Adder dismissed Perry as a threat, only to be ultimately taken out by them
  • Under New Management: The Cat's Head Inn, after the previous owner was ousted as an abuser by Perry. also, House Ashenfoot's Hall of Healing, after some... things were brought to light
