Alan Napier (born Alan William Napier-Clavering, January 7, 1903 - August 8, 1988) was an English actor.
He was best known for playing Mr. Rutland in Marnie (1964), Alfred Pennyworth in the Batman series with Adam West (1966), and for voicing Sir Pellinore in The Sword in the Stone (1963).
He was married to Emily Nancy Bevill Pethybridge and Aileen Dickens Hawksley and had two children, one with Pethybridge and one with Hawksley.
Napier died at the age of 85 in 1988 after suffering a stroke.
