* Marvel's ''ComicBook/TheAvengers,'' through their founding member and frequent-chairman, ComicBook/IronMan, has their own British butler (complete with ex-Royal Air Force veteran backstory), Jarvis, who's a NiceGuy with a personality (at least in the main Earth-616 universe), that is the exact opposite of that of DC's Alfred.

** After finding an alien baby in a rocket, Pa and Ma Kent become quickly inured to weirdness, especially in continuities where Clark has a public Superboy career. In ''ComicBook/Superboy1980'' issue #40, Clark laughs at his shrugging at being told he has met another alien race.
--->'''Ma Kent:''' (deadpan) ''"Ohh, another alien race! My word, there certainly seems to be a lot of them, doesn't there?"''\\
'''Superboy:''' ''"Ha, ha! Did you hear what you just said, Ma? Whoever thought you'd accept people from another planet coming to Earth as nothing special?"''\\
'''Ma Kent:''' ''"Well, haven't I been raising one under my own roof all these years?"''

* Jeremy Feeple from ''ComicBook/NinjaHighSchool'' is no doubt this, especially considering the weirdness he attracts to himself.

* Finn from ''WesternAnimation/AdventureTime'', due to being the [[spoiler:former]] last human in his time, spends his time with his magical stretching dog, Jake, a vampire, candy, and other wacky things.
* Sokka from ''WesternAnimation/AvatarTheLastAirbender'' is this being the only non-bender in the group (before [[ActionGirl Suki]] joined mid-season 3) and actually coped quite well thanks to meat and sarcasm. It helped that he had a clear niche as TheSmartGuy and TheStrategist; he can't manipulate the elements, but most of the team can't read a map.
* Ben and Gwen Tennyson in the original ''WesternAnimation/{{Ben 10}}'', pilot episode. In fact, they only freak out for a couple of minutes, as Ben had turned into a living candle and had accidentally started a forest fire. After Grandpa Max explained that Ben was an alien they calmed down quickly.

* Philip J. Fry from ''WesternAnimation/{{Futurama}}'', although it takes him a while to cope with the weirdness. Once he does, he realizes that [[CloudCuckooLander he probably never]] [[BornInTheWrongCentury really belonged in the 21st Century anyway]]. Best summed up by his speech to Leela when she gets plastic surgery for a second eye:

* Candace in ''WesternAnimation/PhineasAndFerb''. In spite of her neurotic tendencies, she has seen so many astounding things over the course of the show that they rarely surprise her anymore. Particularly in later seasons, there's an ironic trend for her to remain relatively calm in real crises, in contrast to her typical overreacting.

* This is how Stan manages to cope living in ''WesternAnimation/SouthPark''. The entire town is a WeirdnessMagnet and his father is perhaps the most insane in a town of people with multiple personalities, illiterates, [[KnightTemplarParent Knight Templar Parents]], the son of the devil, a DepravedBisexual teacher and [[ManipulativeBastard Eric Cartman]]. Despite all this, he usually watches on unfazed by what is happening this week other than to [[FacePalm pinch the bridge of his nose]].

* Connie from ''WesternAnimation/StevenUniverse'', she's a little shocked when she learns new things about the Gems sometimes but her shock always lasts about 0.02 seconds. A good example being when [[spoiler:Lapis Lazuli steals the ocean, Connie doesn't know about Lapis's ability to attack with water-doppelgangers and has never fought with the Gems before, but she runs right in anyway and even saves Steven when the tower falls.]]

* ''WesternAnimation/TheOwlHouse'': Downplayed at first. [[Characters/TheOwlHouseLuzNoceda Luz Noceda]] is initially put off by the Boiling Isles due to it not being the "PG Fantasy World" that she envisioned as her ideal escapist fantasy. However, she comes to quite like the Isles and their own charm, especially once she learns that she can learn magic while staying there. Ultimately, [[LikeADuckTakesToWater Luz adjusts to the Isles as if she had always been a resident]] with the only thing that makes her or her reactions to things any different from anyone else born on the Isles being that she is a Human and as such, is seeing most of the Isles' charms and quirks for the first time. She even lampshades this to her mother Camila when the latter sees the Isles for the first time, stating that she doesn't have to pretend to like the Isles as she knows that Camila very much isn't unfazed.
