By lobotomizing them with a power drill. As it turns out, this is due to his backstory of having a father who was a MallSanta that got lynched for molesting children which led to him getting sent to a [[BedlamHouse nightmarish mental institution]] that traumatized him on top of being a meth addict.

** Season 1 sees Scott Calvin [[TenMinuteRetirement retire from the Santa-job]]. His successor, tech entrepreneur Simon Chokski has good intentions at first, but soon suffers from a SanitySlippage when the Christmas magic is fading, ignoring the warnings of vanishing elves. It gets so bad, the elves have to get back Scott and his family to take on Simon. Scott comes out of reitrement and takes the role back.
** Season 2 goes the other route and now introduces a bad predecessor of Scott: Magnus Antas, also known as "Mad Santa", who was imprisoned by the elves in the medival age as he got DrunkWithPower. He now is freed and wants to take the North Pole back and become a tyrant Santa once again. [[spoiler:Scott ends up defeating him, but he actually pulls a HeelFaceTurn in the end]].

Santa doesn't do anything seriously antagonistic, but he makes very rude jokes and is generally pretty unhelpful towards [=SpongeBob=], Sandy and the rest as they try to move the moon back into orbit. After Sandy gives him a TheReasonYouSuckSpeech, he calms down and begins to act a bit nicer.
