Flower Knight 4-koma Theater is a series of daily Yonkomas based on Flower Knight Girl, a Free-to-Play Browser/Mobile game featuring girls based on flowers/plants. These comics are posted on the official FKG Twitter / X account, typically in tandem with the weakly updates of FKG.

Tropes:

• Art Shift: "The day of 4" depicts the first two panels in a crude crayon style, which is actually Nazuna's own self drawn 4-koma she made to celebrate the number four.
• Bait-and-Switch:
  • The titular girl in "Teacher Lobelia" is seemingly angry at Cowslip for pelting her with a mushroom — but this being Lobelia the masochist, she's actually more upset at Cowslip's lack in technique of throwing the mushroom at her, illustrating via a blackboard out of nowhere that she should be knocked back upon being pelted.
  • In "Penny Plant and Scilla", Scilla plays around with a pair of donuts by holding them up to her head to imitate Penny Plant's hairstyle — the latter's immediate response to undo her hair gives the impression to the former that they're offended, only for Penny Plant to return the imitation act by copying Scilla's hairstyle.
• Boob-Based Gag:
  • "Two round objects". Viburnum, who throwing around round objects (typically snowballs) for fun, has her impulse kick in from seeing Peperomia's bust, subsequently grabbing the poor girl by the waist to suplex her.
  • In "The most eye-catching T-shirt", Heliconia attempts to stand out in the T-shirt competition by designing one that gives the illusion of a busty torso in a bikini top. Unfortunately for her, she just doesn't compare to the likes of Geranium and Peperomia, whose busts are barely restrained in their respective shirts.
  • Plumeria's idea of fixing Cherry's choker, two red ornament balls attached to the choker by a string, is to attach fabric to bust line of her dress, with the bust acting as the replacement ornaments. Plumeria doesn't actually do this in reality, but does get embarrassed at letting her imagination go in a weird direction.
  • "Cross-dressing Echinacea" features the girl trying out some men clothing at Saffron's suggestion. The problem lies with Echinacea struggling to put on a shirt due to her bust, with the foregoing of the shirt in favor of the vest jacket only doing so much to fit her.
    Echinacea: ...I don't think we can call this cross-dressing anymore, now can we?
  • In the comic aptly titled "Boobs", Flame Lily finds herself inexplicably stuck midway through a wall, with her bust making it hard to pull herself out. The gag gets furthered with Flame Lily trying to force her bust smaller via... massaging, which gets her reprimanded by Kijimushiro for indecency.
  • "I'm floating!" features Geranium and Chocolate Lily out swimming with floaty rings on, the latter remarking that the former would probably be floating with just their massive bust if they discard the ring. Chocolate Lily wasn't exactly serious about her comment, but lo and behold, that's exactly what happens to Geranium.
• Brick Joke:
  • "Radish's admiration" has the girl in question confess to wanting to emulate Nazuna in many ways, topping it off with her wanting to cut the front of her skirt like Nazuna's coat dress, showing off her panties in full view. Come "A little sister to be proud of", Radish has committed to the idea with her skimpier clothing ensemble.
  • "New swimsuit" features Toad Lily getting gifted an origami swimsuit by False Hydrangea after the former's swimsuit breaks. By "***'s swimsuit", Lantana somehow obtains it and offers it to an embarrassed Summer Squash, who ends up giving it to Tuberose in the following comic.
  • "The other side of a VTuber's debut" deliberately mimics the very first comic "Mission start!", with OsaNazu preparing in the exact same manner as her sister Nazuna, checking if her accessories and hair are in shape... though, unlike Nazuna, who at least had panties on despite showing them off, OsaNazu is missing something entirely, going by the last panel.
  • The punchline of "A poem of Rosa Novalis" follows up from "Stretching", with Nazuna still trying to perform the splits as she strains herself with her stance.
• Buxom Beauty Standard: The fact that, according to Dancing Lady Orchid in "Number one", there exists a Beautiful Boobs festival, to which she proposes that Cattleya could participate in, to the latter's shock.
• Call-Back:
  • In "Oracle", Casablanca casts her voice as some unseen goddess to convince Mountain Lily to make honey toast for them. The former pulled off a similar trick on the latter in the "Finding the Strength to Help the Ruler" story event.
  • In "Psychological warfare", Great Burnet deciding her next chest move against Kurin Yukifude has her thinking "left... right... left... right... rieft", just like did when deducing Saint Paulia's hidden candy in "The candy formula".
• Color Failure: In "Deluxe hamburger steak", Japanese Quince undergoes this along with her ghost exiting her mouth, when she's told that the hamburgers that she just ate is laced with onions.
• Comedic Work, Serious Scene: "Silent feelings" features no punchlines or play-on words, only of Rough Potato looking for Parasan, with Pot Marigold helping her out and recalling her own feelings of being separated, alluding to her missing sister Calendula.
  Pot Marigold: If a pair can't be together, it gets pretty lonely.
• Counting Sheep: Japanese Dock in "1 sheep" shares with Blushing Bride this trick to help sleep well, the latter of whom tries this once night falls. As she counts starting from one, she imagines herself flocked by sheep, with her eventually counting high enough to get herself buried under hundreds of sheep in her dream, subsequently panicking and begging for the commander to save them.
• Denser and Wackier: The comics as a whole naturally lean towards more comedic than serious in contrast to FKG, from the more serious Flower Knights being incorporated into some jokes, to comics like "The time has come! Decisive battle against Nidhoggr" adapting scenarios from FKG — whereas the original trek into Nidhoggr's abode is an urgent mission to seal a Physical God that'll risk destroying all of Spring Garden, the knights in the comic are more concerned with having an impromptu picnic with meat that's easily cooked due to the Lethal Lava Land atmosphere.
• Didn't Think This Through: For the 200th comic milestone, Nazuna, like with the "100" glasses she made for the 100th comic, created another article of clothing to celebrate the number 200: a "200" bikini. The problem lies in by forming the 200 in the bikini top, it result in the clothing area for her bust to be way too small for modesty, as Nazuna realizes upon wearing it.
• Fountain of Youth: Played for Laughs in "Special outfit", where Cattleya is made inexplicably younger, in reference to her respective alternate skin in FKG being her child form, with her somehow becoming a baby overtime in the final panel.
• Funbag Airbag: Lemon gets subject to a rather painful variant in "Leave it to Lemon", where she goes to hug Paphiopedilum to offer stamina recovery, only to run face-first into the latter's metal breastplate.
• Gilligan Cut: In "Beloved gun Josephine", Corn Cockle asks if Adenium should try to name her own weapon, to which Adenium insists that it's not needed, since it's just a tool for felling foes. Cut to Adenium alone with her thoughts, thinking about a possible name for her weapon.
  Adenium: Catherine... No, how about Marianne...
• Goofy Suit:
  • Banana Ocean's back dancer uniforms are basically giant bananas that encompasses the torso of the wearer, leaving the limbs and face exposed. Ever since Anemone was made to wear it by mistake, its influence has spread far and wide.
  • The punchline for "Unyaa~ outfit" is this type of outfit by Cotton. Whereas Nazuna expected a fluffy and "slightly risky" outfit based on the puffball spirit Bloss, the "dream-cute" outfit she gets is basically one massive plush of the spirit shaped into a hood
• Hurricane of Puns: "Year's first dream" consists of Streptocarpus seeing Japanese Barberry dressed as a mountain, Larkspur wearing a beak and accompanied by an eagle, and Nightshade just before she wakes up, based on the Japan folk belief of having year-long good luck if one sees Mount Fuji (represented with Japanese Barberry, AKA Megi, looking like a mountain), an eagle (Larkspur) and an eggplant (called Nasu/Nasubi in Japan, hence Nightshade with her JP name Warunasubi) in the first dream of the new year.
• Identical Stranger: "Searching for Rosa Novalis" features a civilian whom Royal Princess initially mistaken for Novalis, due to their pale purple colored clothes and hair; only being clued in that she found the wrong girl by their less regal ensemble and different face.
• Last-Second Word Swap: In "Mother", Dipladenia almost refers to Plumeria as okaasan (mother) as she sleeps on their lap, with her changing it to okaka (a fermented skipjack tuna dish) to make it seem like they're thinking of food.
• Please Subscribe to Our Channel: After Pothos and Bamboo end up wearing up to several different swimwear in "Many different swimsuits", Pothos calls out to the audience to show their usual support on Twitter / X.

• Potty Emergency: Zebrina in "The replacement item", having just downed a gallon of water to quench her nervousness-induced dry throat, finds herself in desperate need of a bathroom. Then she takes one look at Barley's mug, and...
  Zebrina: Excuse me... May I borrow that container you have there...? [panting]
  Barley: Zebrina, what are you thinking!?
• Running Gag: The banana costume. At first it was worn by Anemone by accident, who chose to unquestioningly keep it on for her idol performance anyways. Then this costume manages to reach Water Hyssop and Rabbit-ear Iris, whose wearing of it manages to influence the culture of Lotus Lake; its citizens all wearing the same thing. Later, both the queens end up dressing in a pair of banana costumes for their dance-off.
• Serious Business: For Chocolate Lily, the raw meat patterned cloth, courtesy of Geranium. In the first comic of the topic, the normally stoic girl is blatantly upset at the inner pattern lining of her furisode looking like raw meat, complaining that she likes dried meat. Subsequent appearances of this raw meat pattern also end up upsetting Chocolate Lily, such as Geranium's own Yukata hiding the design underneath, or when the fabric itself is brought back for Pelargonium in "A cloth I seem to remember".
• Skinny Dipping: Seeing Platanus discard her clothes for her research in "Viva nudity★" has Kikuna get the bright idea to take after them and go nude while swimming, who in turn asks Lettuce if she can join her, naturally getting a deadpan refusal.
• Sorry to Interrupt: Star Cluster in "Aiming for Southern Cross", in reference to a prior comic where Crowea had to wear nothing but a sash, inspires her to dress in nothing but a Naked Apron to emulate her idol. And just as soon as she does this, Fatsia appears from the door behind her, who almost immediately backs out with the door closed, leaving Star Cluster profusely blushing.
• Speech-Bubble Censoring: A variant is used in "Twinspur's pranks", where the top of White Gaura's hair is conveniently covered by her speech bubbles to hide the punchline of her hair being subject to Twinspur's latest prank involving broccoli.
• Sure, Let's Go with That: Nazuna's attempt at doing the splits alongside Nipplewort in "Stretching" has her unable to bend her legs further than her usual standing height. Nipplewort innocently asks if that's a new form of stretching exercise, to Nazuna quickly agrees to save face.
• Taking a Third Option: "The candy formula" has Great Burnet faced with two choices to pick from regarding which hand of Saint Paulia is hiding a piece of candy. Unfortunately for Great Burnet, her over-thinking the logic behind her potential answer has her lose confidence in choosing either right or left, culminating in her mixing up her two answers with "Rieft!"
• Toast of Tardiness: Discussed in "Destined person", where Saint Paulia recalls to Silver Orchid the saying about meeting a potential lover by bumping into them around the corner of the street while having bread in your mouth. Wanting to find her "destined one", Silver Orchid decides to take up the trope "with all her heart" — with several slices in her mouth and a whole loaf on hand, charging through the street like an oncoming freight train.
