- The opening monologue depicting an empty city, and what little remains of the earth defense force. The eerie quiet and close ups of things like an abandoned stroller and guitar case really drive home how much damage Alien Bat and Hyper Zetton did.
- The beginning shows that it's the 15 year anniversary of Shin Asuka's heroic sacrifice led by the now Commander Hibiki. Ryo and Koda are seen still mourning their fallen friend.
- Alien Bat killing the pacified Gomess and Gubila, simply because Cosmos dared to ruin his "fun". Cosmos is devastated by the coldblooded murder of the two monsters he just calmed down and collapses to his knees in grief.
- Upon Zetton's awakening, everyone is distraught upon seeing Asuka/Ultraman Dyna's petrified statue. All of them, including the children, were essentially shown the corpse of someone they looked up to and clearly cared about.
- When Alien Bat destroys the orphanage/base, Taiga suffers a PTSD-flashback to the day he lost his parents during a kaiju attack. He had desperately cried for Ultraman to come save him and it's implied his cries went unheard. This traumatic event sheds light on his reluctance to be Zero's host.
- It's revealed that Team U aren't actually official members of the Earth Defense Force. They simply pretended to be in order to give the children hope. Overtime, they continued the façade in order to maintain morale but after Alien Bat destroys their base, their insecurities are brought to the forefront.
- Takeru and Anna had been there to witness Asuka's defeat firsthand. The event was so traumatic that it left Takeru mute. Anna on the other hand was unable to confide about the truth to anyone and had to continue keeping up a strong front to maintain morale.
- After Anna's mecha/plane crashes, Risa desperately tries to revive her while she, Misato, and Sawa calling for her. She flatlines and all seems lost, but Risa still keeps trying. At the same time, the three Ultramen are defeated by Hyper Zetton. In one last pull of hope, the three turn into Ultraman Saga and Anna is miraculously revived.
- Double as Heartwarming, Asuka reuniting briefly with his friends, the former super guts after 15 years to assure them that Taiga is fine. All of them are overjoyed to finally meeting him again, and Ryo promised him that they will follow him soon with Asuka giving them a warm smile before leaving on another journey.
