- Straight: The 115st Wikistan Fighter Squadron is nicknamed "Alpha" Squadron.
- Exaggerated: There are loads of Squad Nicknames for different squads: The 401st Tropeland Air Superiority Squadron is nicknamed "Omega" Squadron, the 419th Tropeland Reconnaissance Squadron is nicknamed "Kappa" Squadron, the 404th Tropeland Stealth Interceptor Squadron is nicknamed "Psi" Squadron, and the 413th division, 666th Wikistan Air Superiority Squadron is nicknamed "Reaper" Squadron.
- Downplayed: Only one squad nickname is used, which is "Reaper" Squadron. Every other squadron is referred to its full designation.
- Justified: It's a heck of a lot shorter than saying the full thing, and it's got loads of potential to sound cool. Sometimes given as a callsign by the higher ups so they don't strain themselves saying the full thing.
- Inverted: Something that's officially designated as "Reaper" Squadron is nicknamed, "413th division, 666th Wikistan Air Superiority Squadron".
- Subverted: When asked about it, the captain of the 115st Wikistan Fighter Squadron remarks that it's not actually given nicknames.
- Double Subverted: It's given callsigns.
- Parodied: The Squad Nickname is something ludicrous or crazy, such as the 69th division, 420th Ruritania Air Squadron, nicknamed "Dildo" Squadron.
- Zig-Zagged: People tend to interchange the actual designation and the callsign a lot.
- Averted: There are no such nicknames.
- Enforced: Rule of Cool.
- Lampshaded: "It's like a callsign, but for squads."
- Invoked: The Four-Star Badass is tired of having to repeat the whole designation, and opts for a callsign instead.
- Exploited: The callsign can hide the true nature of the squadron; "Auxiliator" is actually referring to the 444th Tropeland Decimation Squadron.
- Defied: The Armchair Military General bans any sort of callsign whatsoever, referring to squadrons by designation and soldiers by rank.
