• Fallen Hero: Ignacio was a straight hero in the original project, but he losed fate thanks to the cynical and overall pessimistic ways of his twin Armando, and now he seeks to "fix" the world...by taking over it

• Good Counterpart: Jolene is this to Veronica, minus the angel and powers part, though it's downplayed.
  • Thomas is this to Ignacio in overall personality, since they're both laid-back and tranquil most of the time
• Heterosexual Life-Partners: Ryan and Thomas, despite Ryan's not straight and Thomas is very ambiguous they are very close friends, despite they only see each other in a platonic way.
• Ho Yay: Thomas is the main offender, with him having and ambiguous interest in Rick, and let's not even begin with his backstory
• Irony: Armando fears lightning.
• Little Bit Beastly: Via the power of science.
• Informed Ability: Everyone that have superpowers haven't show them yet.
• Mind Screw: Some strips just don't make any sense even in context
• Morality Kitchen Sink: Half of the heroes and secondary characters are in the grey area, the other half of them are in the white area, and the villains are composed of Anti-Villain and Complete Monster

• Nice Job Fixing It, Villain: Veronica has some serious Stupid Evil moments.
• Nominal Hero: 3 of the 4 main characters' motives to save the world must be heard to be believed: Armando's boredom (his internet connection is down), Ricardo's annoyance (he thinks the villain isn't a good enough one [though he doesn't plan to overthrow him at all since being a villain doesn't really suits him]), and Victoria's reward (Victoria plans to loot the treasure from the villain after defeating him/her), Ryan [and Rick in any other occasion]] is the Token Good Teammate of the group, but even then he still wants part of Victoria's loot.
• Petite Pride: You won't hurt Victoria with a comment about her bust, since she's very proud of it.
• Obfuscating Stupidity: Despite acting most of the time as a perverted imbecile, Thomas is fairly intelligent.
• Oh, Crap!: Ricardo before Armando blowed up a truck while Armando was doing an Evil Laugh (said explosion was claimed to be done For Science!).
• Only Sane Man: Armando, Ryan and Jolene are very much this, but even then, Armando is kind of pyromaniac, Ryan likes to play mental games with others and Jolene is a party animal.
• Running Gag: Fluff's powers backfiring.
• Sanity Slippage: Ricardo is suspected to suffer from this, since he can be full on creepy sometimes.
  • Ryan didn't endured very well the reaper job, though this now it's fully set in Alternate Continuity
• Schedule Slip: BIG.TIME. Expect at least 3 months of waiting between every strip.
• Spotlight-Stealing Squad / Out of Focus: Ignacio was the original protagonist of the series in the project before the current one, and he tries to recover the spotlight Unsuccessfully.
  • Ryan is a more serious example, practically getting the protagonist status from Armando, it is lampshaded though he has justifiable reasons to pass/avoid the spotlight, since he's genre savvy enough to know that his story will eventually develop into Protagonist Journey to Villain:

• Symbiotic Possession: Fluff to Ignacio. Subverted now that he has a new robotic body.
• Transparent Closet: Everyone can see that Mariela is obviously crushing on Jolene, she still denies everything though
• Vitriolic Best Buds: Armando with Victoria, also a case of Like Brother and Sister
• Yandere: Veronica to the point she once killed half of the cast because she thought Armando was dating someone who wasn't her in the horror spin-off, unfortunately for him, he's now
