Cougar Macdowall, also known by his YouTube channel as Cougar macdowall Va (which means Courgar Macdowall Voice Acting), is a Canadian-American youtuber, voice actor, and dubber, who joined YouTube on December 24, 2013. He makes videos of comic dubs of different artists who make comics of works such as Murder Drones, Five Nights at Freddy's, The Amazing Digital Circus, Poppy Playtime and specifically the Smiling Critters, but the works he mostly dubs and centers around are from Godzilla. In 2022 he made a major shift to adult themed content as he grew, causing some old fans to be turned off, and has stated in descriptions that his videos were not made for kids. He also uses stories made by other people in his videos, for example Five Nights at Freddy's: Lost Souls, which was originally made by Chiwwy Dog, but his dub is fully supported by Chiwwy Dog who has even claimed its the canon dub.

He is also the voice actor of Tabi from V.S. TABI Ex Boyfriend, until a number of controversies around him, namely him not helping in the FNF mod and using Tabi to make comic dubs while overworking the other workers of the mod, Homisky, the creator of Tabi, announces the cancellation of the mod until Cougar gives back the ownership of the character.

• Adaptational Attractiveness: Cougar’s thumbnails and comic dubs featured characters such as Godzilla, Pomni or Catnap in a very Self-Fanservice version of themselves, with more curvy, slimmer and/or muscular take of the characters and oftentimes with a highly revealing clothing. He is severely criticized by the fandoms he is part of due to this, since children were attracted to his highly NSFW content and many labelled him as a content farm for it since he was making views and clicks of his videos by making content from medias where there is a majority of children in the community. Although he has taken the criticism and has began to change his thumbnails into less fanservice-y and more standard version of a average comic dub to attract less children to his content as well of a content warning in comic dubs where there are themes not safe for children..
• Adaptational Nice Guy:
  • Monty in the original game is very implied to be the killer of Glamrock Bonnie and there are hints of him planning to kill Freddy and take his place. With WhenSoulsCollide comics that Cougar dubs, they are a couple after revealing their feelings for each other.
  • Ghidorah from the Godzilla’s MonsterVerse version of the franchise is a cruel alien who plans to terraform the whole planet for his own likening. In RuubeszDraws comics that Cougar dubs, Ichi, the main head is now a Jerkass who is just tired of his other two siblings, Ni is a Hair-Trigger Temper who is grumpy and San/Kevin is a Keet who is very enjoyable to be around with.
• Author Avatar:
  • Cougar’s avatar varies from a anthropomorphic wold or a man with wolf characteristics.
  • Smexy Borzoi also doubles as one for Cougar’s friend, artist and fellow voice actor Jelzyart.
• Et Tu, Brute?: You Lied is essentially a song of Catnap singing of how he feels that Dogday and the rest of the Smiling Critters betrayed and abandoned him as well as of his Start of Darkness.
• The Friend Nobody Likes: Smile Everyday has the Smiling Critters except Catnap sing about themselves and the Playcare, excluding him out of the song, to which it leads to You Lied.
• Noble Wolf: His Author Avatar is either portrayed as an anthropomorphic wolf or a humanoid man with wolf ears, a wolf tail, and fangs.
• Original Character: He introduces in his videos several characters made by the artists that makes the comics he dubs or his own.
• Overly-Long Tongue: Smexy Borzoi can stretch her tongue in big distances.
• Puppet Shows: Some of his videos revolve around using hand puppets of Godzilla, Kong and King Ghidorah and react to fan videos of Godzilla.
• Technicolor Eyes: Cougar's Author Avatar has heterochromia. His left eye is orange and his right eye is light blue.
• Trademark Favorite Food: Smexy Borzoi has a massive love for Sour Cream and Onions Pringles and will do anything for it.
