Eh.

Lucy's been getting good fights, and even been allowed to win them. She's still getting jokes at her expense, but I'd say it's improved in that particular way.

Chapter is out.

Brick wall vs yappier brick wall continues. You know, all those big blasts leaving just smudges is getting a little humorous (though I guess the yappier brick wall dodged it this chap, unlike the one last chap?)

Thankfully the rest decide to force the powerup on the yappier brick wall. Honestly it doesn't look like that much of a boost lol. Surely there's enough strong people here to match 2-3 Laxuses or 0.0000000000000001 Gildartzes! They didn't even break a sweat before this!

Anyway props to the yappier brick wall for doing damage. Less props for not using the electricity but clearly that's for phase 2 that just started.

Also, as a quick reminder, October 12, 2024 will mark the 15th anniversary of the Fairy Tail anime.

That's quite a while from now!

I hope that dragon kills his stupid ass.

Chapter is out. Boy I felt more for poor old Simon than Athena overall.

Anyway Natsu blows the brick wall's head off, while not using the lightning he was supposed to use even once. GG I guess, onto the last one to get this over with, maybe Mashima won't be bored of Natsu's BBEG of destiny. Good going everyone else, settled into your role as basic exposition babbles from this point on just fine.

But it would be really funny if the wall's not dead yet and we get multiple chapters dragging out this whole emotional Athena death thing while blowing off more of his body parts.

Well, that was a waste of time.

But it happens.

If you cared about Athena's feelings Natsu, then why didn't you just work with everyone and take their power when they tried to give it to you from the start?

I don't know if anyone's aware of this, but I just started a Fairy Tail cleanup thread a few weeks ago.

So, given the announcement of the 100 Years Quest anime adaptation a few years ago, do you think Hidekatsu Shibata (Igneel) will return as the anime's narrator?

I think it's probably gonna be Elefseria's VA this time around, or Ignia if they wanna be funny.

I see. Also, maybe Naoki Tatsuta or Bin Shimada could voice Elefseria? Just a thought I have.

Seems like the leaks suggest 100YQ is coming out in July by JC Staff.

I know it's kinda harmless in this case, but still. If he wasn't giving her real wins lately, I'd probably be far more annoyed.

its either reincarnation or he is distantly related to ichaya, and even if he was he shouldn't have any relation to lucy's great great great.. etc grandmother, it would be a seperate line that shouldnt include her in it.

I was wondering do you find age relevant for Fairy Tail aside from the obvious child characters. For example with Lucy So had me wondering is her being 17 at the start important to the plot and development or could she have started at say 22-23 and her role would be the same

Well, I'd ask what the age of "adulthood" is in Fiore. Maybe it is 17. But her relatively young age might also be partially to highlight that she's estranged from her father.

(Disclaimer:I have only seen like 4 episodes of Fairy Tail and only have passing knowledge. I didn't even know Lucy was 17. So take what I suggest with at least a spoonful of salt)
