This may be weird, but I said in a comment on this video that Big with Duke's voice comes across as a calm but weary old guy. I'm not old yet, but I still think that's kind of relatable.

Not necessarily the evil, adult Randall, but I can definitely relate to the younger Randall in Monsters University who just wants to make friends and fit in. It's so sad seeing him so Adorkable and innocent in the prequel film when you know how he turns out when he gets older.
