I can pretty much guarantee that most joe blow movie goers will almost certainly not see that image and those that do will definitely not base their decision to go see the movie on it.
It depends on whether they will actually use it beyond this or not. Or if it becomes memetic enough or not, which so far doesn't seem to be the case, but that might be people just not caring about DC movies all that much period.
Again, most people don't decide to go to the movies based on niche internet memes.
Yeah, I'm not even sure this would be what a hypothetical Superman poster would look like.
I do like how bright red his cape and boots are in the poster. It makes the entire costume pop. Also, I hope they reference or have cameos for some of the lesser known Superman villains like the Puzzler I&II and the Archer. I like it when adaptions give mention to some of the more obscure parts of the mythos like the Linda Danvers and Cir-El super girls. It would be a nice way to contrast with the previous DCEU which felt very focused on just Superman and his start.

I get the idea of the image, show Superman in a more personal, informal way.
Thing is, I think the original photo had him taking off the suit after a days work, hence the sorch marks. It was supposed to be Supes off the job.
But someone decided to photoshop the fight happening outside completely charging the context and throwing everything off. The body language fits the original intent, not the new context.
I bet the original was very much going for the vibes of that Alex Ross painting of Supes partially dressed.

I like the picture but I can see why people are wary since it feel....tired, more like super is like "oh here it is, Brianiac show up....again" I will be honest, if it was post by anyone else it would be acuse of the same "you dont get superman" thing
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not""Aw geez, thank goodness I got rid of that pebble in my boot. I would've had the worst attitude with that thing dangling around! Hopefully whatever Crisis is happening outside right now, I'll be able to resolve with a clear mind and positive thinking."
But yeah, I still really like the suit. I guess some people are grumpy that it's got indents and a New 52 collar, but knowing superhero movies, odds are we'll get an evolved suit by the third act.
Frank Grillo will be reprising Rick Flag Sr. from Creature Commandos for Peacemaker season 2.
Looks like Daddy is showing up to avenge his son.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Well as intended. Also this means Rick flag can come back right since it is an alternate universe
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."If his dad is showing up they’re most likely keeping TSS canon, at least in Broad Strokes.
Deadline is reporting the Supergirl movie will premiere June 26, 2026.

The Owl House and Coyote Vs Acme are my Roman Empire. At this point I'll believe it when I see it.
We'll be getting our first look at Creature Commandos at Annecy Film Festival next month
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I’ll have a draft ready by then. In case they release a trailer/release date.
The Owl House and Coyote Vs Acme are my Roman Empire.
Arguably it is a very important link to the film's narrative because it is supposed to sell the audience on the concept of the story and what it is trying to tell.
But we're just going to run in circles here and nobody will convince the others. Let's agree to disagree and move on.
