Science Saru are helping out? No wonder it looks so fluid and abstract.
Liked the trailer and makes me excited for the project. I found it showed too many characters. Sometimes it's better to be left in the dark.
So we have a few first morsels of the new Ultraman Netflix animated movie. First is a screenshot from Director Shannon Tindle’s Twitter:
Then a few tidbits of footage during the Geeked Week 2023 preview. I think we’re gonna get the first trailer or a release date around that time:
So Skydance Animation is currently looking for a new home, according to Deadline. I have a theory that they’re gonna relocate to Netflix, given that Netflix is looking for outside vendors to provide them with animation.
UPDATE: I was right. Deadline just reported Skydance Animation is switching to Netflix.

The Owl House and Coyote Vs Acme are my Roman Empire.Inevitable reaction:
No sir, I don't like this.
(Also, who took that picture? Because gaaaaah, he still looks like a perv!)
Sooner or later, he’s gotta get kicked out. And then Brad Bird can be in charge.
The Owl House and Coyote Vs Acme are my Roman Empire. Why Brad Bird?
Every time someone claims to be realistic is a dour cynic in disguise. He’s one of the more daring animation directors.
The Owl House and Coyote Vs Acme are my Roman Empire.Who is John Lasseter and why such a negative reaction to him?
Former head of Pixar. He's "former" because he was a creepy sexual harasser.
Disgusted, but not surprisedAnd Skydance seemed to have ignored that when they hired him.
So what do we all think of Captain Laserhawk? The Owl House and Coyote Vs Acme are my Roman Empire.
Damn, justified reaction then.
It gets worse.
I recall there was an article that had some insight on how it's going and I swear that there were parts about Lasseter acting like a real toddler...like sleeping in the middle of a movie and eating food that was on the floor.
Like...what?! Makes you wonder if he's always been like this. Like during the Pixar era or even before Pixar.
I unironically want this. Because then he can do that Ray Gunn movie of his, because it was sounding cool. (Though looking it up now, apparently it's in a less-than-great shape that Bird might want to jump ship if Pixar wants to do Incredibles 3?) Heck, maybe he can even do that animated The Spirit movie once and for all. (Because the pencil test thing is still really good!)
mu theory is that he'll go crawling back to disney at some point and they'll hire him under the table
New theme music also a boxHaven't seen it yet, but I have seen some light(?) Rayman-related spoilers on (the social media website formerly known but still known to me as) Twitter.
Let's just say even our limbless hero gets hit hard with the TV-MA stick.
Sorry, but he who? Brad Bird?

Nah, they won't even try to do that.
Every time someone claims to be realistic is a dour cynic in disguise.Ohhhh.
Yeah, like heck they'll do that.
Honestly, I can’t help but feel like Spellbound is gonna try and replicate some ration of Frozen and Brave. We will see if it can stand on its own.
The Owl House and Coyote Vs Acme are my Roman Empire.Finished the season of Captain Laserhawk, really pulling for a season two, made a WMG page with season two theories.
The Owl House and Coyote Vs Acme are my Roman Empire.Okay I have only just now heard of this show and what the actual heck, a giant Ubisoft crossover set in a cyberpunk dystopia with a Suicide Squad team in the lead and freaking Rayman as a government propagandist? It's insane and I will be watching it as soon as possible.
Disney100 Marathon | DreamWorks MarathonYou will not regret it, my friend.
The Owl House and Coyote Vs Acme are my Roman Empire. This is also the first I'm hearing of it and... it's inspired by Blood Dragon!? Ok yeah I've gotta watch this. Not a huge fan of Adi Shankar but he's done some good stuff
