An animated series from Vivienne Medrano, it follows the escapades of the princess of Hell as she tries to curb hell's overpopulation by creating the titular hotel to redeem souls and get them into heaven.

Do you think that Charlie parents in the background in the panting at 0:25?
I loved the If I Wanted You Dead... moment. It was typical, yes, but it was sinisterly cool.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.New clip featuring a news report by Katie Killjoy and Tom Trench.

That scrolling text tho.
This song needs more love.Wait...Charlie has a split personality? Or is the "honestly sweet girl who just happens to be from hell" thing a façade?
I...didn't get any indication of either of those things, where did you?
She does get a bit scary looking when she's at her most enthusiastic but that's hardly something I wouldn't expect.
I think it's like a callback to her demonic nature. I find it interesting that despite being born and raised in Hell, she's way nicer than most of its inhabitants.

I find it ironic that the news anchor in Hell is upset because she HATES being objectified.
New clip released featuring Sir Pentious and Cherri Bomb.
It actually makes sense. She doesn't have any baggage from a mortal life unlike the rest of Hell's residents. Keep in mind that pretty much everyone else in Hell is a damned soul who ended up in Hell because they were shitty people who lived shitty lives.
Disgusted, but not surprised..... cherry bomb’s hawt.
I love Sir Pentious's pipe organ theme!
I've noticed alot of the voice actors have had fairly minor careers at this point, if the series does well (a distinct possibility given it's current popularity) will it will be their "big break"?
I thought Stamper's* "big" break was Battleblock Theater myself, but I could see it being the case for the rest of the cast.
The possum is a potential perpetrator; he did place possum poo in the plum pot.I want to be optimistic but honestly this show kind of gives me a headache. Everyone around me is loving it because they're excited about and/or people they love are working on it (some of my favorite youtube animators are doing just that). It's animation is fluid and bouncey, yes, but it doesn't always fit the tone or is kind of over-animated in places where it doesn't need to be. There's so much I could say about the concept for this series and why I'm having trouble getting into it...but we are just getting clips about it so I can't judge the whole series by these few stand out examples.
A big part of me wants to join the hype train but I've had issues with Viv's animations and visual storytelling in the past (her webcomic Zoohphobia was a love/hate for me), and yes I know it has few different writers under it's belt but still. But I don't want to be the bad guy ruining everyone else's fun, look whiny or hyper critical - again, I LOVE some of the animators attached to this project. I want to share their enthusiasm but it's hard to not be me and not be kinda critical. Is me not being excited like dumping on them as a fan...? I think it's my anxiety talking but part of me is so worried to talk about this cause I fear my friends or the people I admire are gonna think I'm betraying them somehow...
If anyone else shares my opinion it'd be greatly appreciated...unless you're from the Bad Webcomics Wiki and you're more interested in making artists and writers into "lolcows" than doing a fair, unbiased critical analysis.

It's kind of weird that you've already decided you don't like this show when it isn't even out yet. All we've got so far are a few clips.
If it really causes you anxiety...just stop paying attention to the hype. Wait for the show to come out and watch the first episode.

Disgusted, but not surprisedI remember Zoophobia being somewhat well regarded at first, so were did it's more negative reputation even come from?
Hype Backlash is a natural occurrence once something gets big enough. But I think is exaggerating bit; Zootopia is still plenty popular.
Edit: Ok, I misread that. "Zoophobia". Gotcha. Discount my previous statement.

Zoophobia not Zootopia. It was a previous work that never came into fruition but was really popular as well especially with the furry fandom.
I remember hearing that Alastor actually originated from that work as well until Vivzi put him in Hazbin Hotel.
Ummm, not sure what you mean by Zoophobia being "a previous work that never came into fruition" since it technically did by virtue of it being a webcomic and all. It is however been put on indefinite hiatus and maybe rebooted in the future based on this post.
Also, based on what little I've gathered, a lot of things that Hazbin has actually started out as concepts originally planned for Zoophobia before Viv decided to make something separate. For instance, Angel and Vaggie were also originally supposed to appear in Zoophobia, in its "Angels and Demons" arc according to the wiki. Not only that, they apparently were intended to have been romantically involved together to some capacity as well. Some additional research maybe needed to verify some things but that seems to be the case.

I thought it was an animation like Hazbin?
Ah well I stand corrected.
Vivzie was very sore upon discovering Disney went with Zootopia for one of their films, as any creator would be once a corporation uses an idea or title that is too close to your's to the point where you get countless fans asking if you're related to it.
Oooof that does sound hard.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."
Great sound mixing for that voice. Has the right kind of tinny quality for the effect.
