Caught the new episodes. Gotta say, nice pair of episodes we got. Also, I feel stupid for not realizing Gloria was meant to be Japanese this whole time; I just kinda assumed she was Caucasian for some reason.
"Detecting trace amounts of mental activity. Possibly a dead weasel or a cartoon viewer"Her voice actress is half Asian, so it was kind of a given.
Here's a Random Rings short where Cricket from Big City Greens calls up Launchpad from Duck Tales.

When Awestruck Vox did a video about Chip, he mentioned possibly doing a Gloria video. When Shane Houghton said he liked the video, he said that he should make the Gloria video at the end of season 2. I wonder what could happen.

Here's one of the songs from tomorrow's episode.
Here's a sneak peek from the episode airing March 6.
Kiana Khansmith was nominated for an Annie Award for "Cheap Show" in the storyboard category.
The season 2 finale of Big City Greens is on April 3.

"Bleeped" is an episode that's quite funny just from how juvenile the "swear words" are.
This Saturday's episode, Fast Foodie, will be co-written by Remy's voice actor, Zeno Robinson.

It's time for Random Rings.
Season 2 comes out May 21 on Disney Plus.
Completely random, but I've wanted to share this badly for a while because it's so surprising.
Apparently, according to Wikipedia at least, there's a Canadian Preschool Show from Nelvana called Agent Binky: Pets of the Universenote that at some point features the creators of Big City Greens Chris and Shane Houghton, and Tilly's voice actress Marieve Herington, as guest voices on the show.
Now, I'm not surprised by Marieve Herington appearing since she got her start voice acting in Canada with shows like Pearlie, Delilah & Julius, and Franklin (Canadian-born American VAs Tara Strong and Eric Bauza have also appeared in cartoons with otherwise solely Canadian casts, such as Powerbirds and Atomic Puppet), but the fact they got Chris and Shane Houghton to appear is actually really weird to me.
Admittedly, I haven't seen Agent Binky: Pets of the Universe, but I like to imagine that the Houghton Brothers and/or Herington's appearance on the show made allusions to Big City Greens.

"Detecting trace amounts of mental activity. Possibly a dead weasel or a cartoon viewer"I've never seen the show, so I don't know if the show made any nods to that series. However, while it's possible that Marieve Herington voiced some characters in that series, I'm pretty sure that neither Chris Houghton nor Shane Houghton were in that series. They both grew up in Michigan, while Chris stayed there for college and Shane went to Florida for college. I doubt they could have voiced characters on that show.
I guess that means a “Citation needed” ought to be put down for now.
That said, it’s still not out of the realm of possibility. The otherwise wholly Canadian Yin Yang Yo! had Seth MacFarlane as a guest star, so maybe the Nelvana folks did somehow get two American creators from Disney to appear on their show. We just need someone to check the show’s credits though...

"Detecting trace amounts of mental activity. Possibly a dead weasel or a cartoon viewer"So in the character page for Bill, it says that his real name is William, with Bill being short for the latter. While William is the long form of Bill, how do we know that William is actually our Bill's name? I've never seen anyone calling him that. For all we know, Bill could be his full first name. If there aren't any sources on that, I may be inclined to just remove that from the character page.
The only reason Seth Mac Farlane guest starred on Yin Yang Yo was because he and Steve Marmel (the show's story editor) previously worked together on Johnny Bravo and Cow And Chicken.
On a different note, Disney Plus greatly messed up the ordering for season 2 apparently. For example, Chipocalypse Now is shown as the season 2 premiere.

This reminds me of the story of my grandparents' wedding. The bride's family set everything up and even had placecards with people's names attached. The problem? The groom's placecard read "Albert." His name was actually "Alfred" but everyone, including his wife, called him Al, and the in-laws assumed incorrectly.
see my completed Tangled (Varian) fanfic collection! https://archiveofourown.org/works/24467056/chapters/59049532Now the season 2 episodes are in the right order.

Zeno Robinson went through quite a lot, but when he got the role of Remy on Big City Greens, things got better for him. Happy 3 year anniversary Big City Greens.
Here's some information about Remy straight from Shane Houghton:
1. Before Zeno Robinson was cast as the character, there was a different actor initially cast in the role. The executive who didn't quite get the character tore into him every episode.
2. Said executive once suggested giving Remy a cool pair of shoes, thinking this would've fixed whatever problem he had with the character.
