Miraculous Ladybug

I happened to glance at the credits after watching an episode tonight and noticed that there is a Community Manager named Thomas Papillon. Now that's an amusing coincidence.

Still wondering what the hell is going to happen in Season 6.

Like, this promises to be a major change in the status quo, quite curious if they'll stick to it or not.

There is also an artistic director for the French dub who is called Martial Le Minoux (minou means pussycat in French).

Do we have any idea when to expect this season, by the way?

All we know is that school has been turned into a glorified self study course (Which is a pretty insane idea.) because their teacher is now mayor, Lila is Hawk Moth and has doomed herself to constantly lose to Ladybug and Cat Noir every week, Gabriel is dead but is remembered as a beloved hero which is a pretty awful thing, and Tomoe Tsurugi is at large and free to do.....whatever the hell she's after.

I really wonder if the Supreme from the Paris special is supposed to make an appearance in the main timeline.

Yeah, I have no idea what they're gonna do with Tomoe now that Lila's the main villain.

Lila has no real connection to the whole rich people circle or anything, so I wonder if that part of the plot will just taper off now that Gabriel's dead.

If the writers are smart, they'll give some variety in villains, make Lila and Tomoe separate threats.

You know I'd just had a thought: what if it's revealed that Lila’s the Supreme?

I'm not sure that's a good idea but it would make sense tbh.

Isn’t she native to the main universe tho?

Or are you saying her alt self is the supreme?

may wonder if chole will come back or she is written out of the show, im leaning for the second in a way.

Just finished watching the season 4 finale (as I'm a Netflix peasant stuck in the past). I wish they had let Alya keep the fox miraculous. I guess they really wanted to go back to the original duo and so they had to contrive a reason for that, even though it basically undoes one of the major developments of the season.

Now I get to wonder how many years it will be before Netflix gets season 5...

They did write her out of the show, so it would surprise me if they brought her back, but considering how much this show loves it's routines...

The former most likely.

Audrey is credited with discovering Gabriel and maintains a cordial relationship with him (For as much either of them can manage with their personalities) so Audrey would at least probably want Marinette to flourish in the same way because it would reflect better on her as well.

I would find it particularly amusing and ironic if Audrey would be quite fond of Marinette if they did end up working together.

Audrey would mostly be a conditional kind of love tho, since their dynamic is built on Marinette providing all sorts of great designs.

But that would still be better than how she treats her own daughter.

So Audrey really would exploit Marinette huh.?

I feel like Audrey would actually teach Marinette and raise her star, but only if Marinette performs to her high standards.

Every once in a while I think about how much of a crime it is that we still have yet to get a Bunnyx vs Timebreaker episode.

A battle between time masters would be wild. I think Bunnyx is my favorite of the heroes, but she's so OP they can't use her for most stories.

Finally watching some of the bits of Season 5 I hadn't seen. On the Dark Humor episode atm.

The fact that it took five whole seasons before one of Marinette's lovesick panic attacks managed to attract Hawkmonarch's attention is hilarious.

The episode kind of turns Kim into a monster, though.

Also, it's been a while since I've said this, but I just saw the episode where Hawkmonarch had the power of infinite do-overs and still managed to self-sabotage his plan every time, and now an episode where he thinks a practical joke-based villain (ok, it's a mind control villain with a practical joke gimmick, but still) is a good idea, I can safely say, even to the last, that Gabriel is kinda crap at the whole villain thing.

And to think he was a villain long before he ever became Hawkmoth as well.

Man, Kagami gets pulled through the wringer this season, huh? She gets akumatized twice, kidnapped on multiple occasions, etc.

Also, more of Gabriel being a genius: gives a minion the superpower of inability to see or hear or touch anything, then orders them to go fight people.

To be honest, Ryukomori is one of my favorite villain concepts over all the ones the show has ever done, but she was also one of the most harmless villains show has ever done because she... like... can't actually do what Hawkmonarch wants nor has any interest in doing it, and is largely incapable of inconveniencing anyone except in very specific circumstances.

She's a good example of how some of the show's villain ideas probably would've been better done independently, rather than all of them being attached to Hawkmonarch.

Ever wonder if Gabriel sometimes just wants to cause chaos and just forgets about the Miraculous until the plot already gets going? It might explain a few things.
