I wonder when 3rd party companies will be able start confirming some of their upcoming title to be coming out for the Switch 2. I remember back in July 2016 when Sonic Forces was first announced coming to Switch which was called "NX" at the time.
Someone crunched the numbers and found that Nintendo's total profits during the seven years of the Switch have surpassed the combined profits of the previous 35 years since 1981, both without and with inflation factored in.

The only acceptable response.
Just ignore them and watch Good Vibes Gaming instead.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?
Will look into them, but what's wrong with Game Xplain? Haven't kept up with ANY gaming outlets in ages so I'm out of the loop.
Andre, the founder of the channel, has had history with underpaying staff. Most of the original team left to make CVG a few years back, and members of the second team left to create their own channels for similar reasons a while ago as well.
Ouch. They did make a video about Nintendo's financials though.
GVG video about layoffs and Nintendo

They are fine in general, but at times they can get alittle antsy with news. Lately they were obsessed with Switch 2 rumors and made many videos about anything that crossed their paths. And when Nintendo News wasn't coming, like lately, they kind of got alittle pissy at times, like a video wondering if success made Nintendo boring, comparing game graphics on PS 5 vs a 7 year old console and being...over-analyzing of Nintendo at times.
Their VG As video was basically "Zelda lost and Nintendo barely there."
Basically fine but they can get alittle crazy if news runs dry.

-Witty line-Yeah, I didn't like those videos either. And like I mentioned before, I have stayed away from Nintendo fan channels in general because they've also shown too much obsession with rumors about the Switch 2 (clearly a sequel to the obsession over the Switch Pro). The only exception is a Spanish-speaking Nintendo fan channel from Uruguay, since its hosts have themselves expressed boredom over the persistent rumors and they don't like to talk about them anymore; that alone is why I'm still subscribed to them and they're among my favorite YT channels (and today they've just aired a very fun livestream).
135 - 169 - 273 - 191 - 188 - 230 - 300considering that for a good while we only know about 3 Nintendo games released in the year at a time, and one of those is Luigi's mansion 2 HD I don't blame Nintendo focused channels f0r focusing on Switch 2 rumors
I started tilting away when a lot of them just sort of started getting very negative for what felt like mundane things and reasons like Aonuma's comments about Zelda games, the Switch 2 stuff, and the Tournament fiasco, as well as the takedown notices without ever actually delving into the real specifics of what was actually happening. It felt very, disingenuous isn't the word, but like they were going less for actually informing people and just plugging headlines for views and clicks.
Video game youtube videos tend to be like that.
The one acedote that always pops into my mind about how much of a Bad Boss Andre is, during the GVG 2020 year in review, Steve mentioned that Andre only gave him two days to get the review of Final Fantasy VII Remake done so it could be put up when the embargo came down, forcing him to spend basically every waking moment getting through the game.
I don't have a timestamp, but here's the relevant discussion:
And both Jon and Derrick had kids on the way and all of them were looking for both better pay and better work/life balance.
Did you know that Derrick was always stuck in the press room during E3 to get new video uploads done and never had a chance to experience it before it got shut down?

Starting today!
Indie developers Inside Systems have confirmed the next Legend Of The Dark Witch is coming to Switch successor.
No specific games have been confirmed, but EastAsiaSoft has confirmed their support.

"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Oh nice. Love that series
Help me. I can't get it out of my head.All makes sense. 3rd parties couldn't advertise the next gen games until Ninteno officially confirmed that a next gen system was coming (I mean, we ALL knew they had a console coming, but you have to follow headquarters and their legal procedures).
-Witty line-So, is this just NES Remix without the Remix challenges?
With the changing of Nintendo Software Technology's logo from grey ovals to red rectangles, the Wii era has finally been vanquished!
Old logo:
New logo:
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."
Good because I honestly hated the gray wii era logo.
After 10 year plus years I have the confidence to be here. Let's give it EVERYTHING we've got! It's...PUNISHMENT TIMEThank god, red has always been Nintendo's color.
Red = Nintendo
Blue = Playstation
Green = X-Box
That's how it was and how it should always be.
dang, i didn't know Sony and Microsoft participated in that Splatfest!
Think we're ready for that next floor, Eight.Given some of the recent events involving Sony and Microsoft, I don't think they're doing that good of a job upholding those particular tenets...

If the backwards compatibility thing is true then there shouldn't be worries.
