The film will be scored by Michael Giacchino (The Incredibles, Rataouille, Up, Toy Story of Terror).

A lot of The Office members.
Lewis Black as Anger is pretty much perfect casting.

Perfect character design, too.

Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatI'm starting to wonder if perhaps Riley's outer world might be live action. They already integrated live action in Wall-E, and if they kept the story mostly in her mind, they could use the contrast to enhance their animated storytelling.
Fresh-eyed movie blogI doubt they will, even though it seems logical. I always said the scenes outside the arcades in Wreck It Ralph should've been live-action.
And why did you always say that?
To help separate the digital video game world from the digital video game world better, I believe. Something to that effect.
And I totally see the argument behind it.
Yeah but
It's already separated by the room being dark and the people looking funnier
It also could have just simply looked cool. Additonally, the 'real world' scenes in Wreck-It Ralph didn't do anything that couldn't have been done in real life.
However, I still appreciate the animation and I don't think it really loses or gains either way.
I'm a critical person but I'm a nice guy when you get to know me. Now, I should be writing. If the outside world was in life action it would bring to mind Osmosis Jones.
It would be pretty sensible if done correctly.
The Lego Movie shows there's plenty of room to blend the two mediums.

Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatSo anytime someone suggests an idea like that, you automatically think Osmosis Jones?? Why that example? That is a horrible example. Why not Who Framed Roger Rabbit, The Phantom Tollbooth, Mary Poppins, The LEGO Movie, etc??

Osmosis Jones is a considerably more similar story conceptually than any of those movies. It's an adventure taking place inside a human body, with everything inside it being animated and everything outside it being live action. Just replace "body" with "mind", and you've got pretty much the same concept.

Okay. But Inside Out already sounds like the Pixar story guys said, "You know Osmosis Jones?? .... No? I don't blame you! Let's take everything in that movie, and make it good!!" :D
Not everything in Osmosis Jones was as terrible as you say. The animation scenes within were the best. The live-action stuff outside not so much. This film doesn't look like it' going to be as literal about internal functions anyway, and going more for a Jungian representation.

I do wonder what the interior of the mind looks like and how the characters are supposed to be fighting for control. If there ends up being just one microphone that they speak into, then unfavorable comparisons to Osmosis Jones can fly fast and free.
But that's a story for another time.Yeah I was exaggerating. The animation was really good, and Thrax is a great villain.
As long as they don't pull that stupid "Only use 10% of Brain" crap, I'm sold for this film as PIXAR's Cog Sci Fantasy Feature.

You are displaying abnormally high compulsions to over-analyze works of fiction and media. Diagnosis: TV Tropes Addiction.Sadly, that sounds exactly like the kind of bad joke this film will crack.
Unless they put a lampshade on it:
"The water's going down! It's half-empty!" "I'd say it's half-full." "STOP IT!"
Well, considering that there's 5 of them, that's already 20% of her brain being used at any given time. Which is considerably more accurate.

You are displaying abnormally high compulsions to over-analyze works of fiction and media. Diagnosis: TV Tropes Addiction.A teaser should be coming soon? Like, in the next several months that is, given how it wont be seen for a year from now.
More about the plot revealed, though, not much of anything new than what we already know:
"Growing up can be a bumpy road, and it’s no exception for Riley, who is uprooted from her Midwest life when her father starts a new job in San Francisco. Like all of us, Riley is guided by her emotions — Joy (Amy Poehler), Fear (Bill Hader), Anger (Lewis Black), Disgust (Mindy Kaling) and Sadness (Phyllis Smith). The emotions live in Headquarters, the control center inside Riley’s mind, where they help advise her through everyday life. As Riley and her emotions struggle to adjust to a new life in San Francisco, turmoil ensues in Headquarters. Although Joy, Riley’s main and most important emotion, tries to keep things positive, the emotions conflict on how best to navigate a new city, house and school.”
