I actually heard one of WB's animation directors say that on average, WB's straight-to-video animated films shot for an average length of 90 minutes, with time added or subtracted based on how much actual animation went into them. If a film had a lot of action scenes, you shaved time off, whereas if you had some long still shots, you could add time.
That one Batman Christmas movie that Prime picked up now has a poster and a release date:

Not surprised people loved under the red hood. Great film. It's why I've always preferred Jason as a bad guy.
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."Red Hood is one of the greatest Batman films ever
Oooof Killing Joke being so high there is sad

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Agreed on Red Hood. Also glad to see Crisis on Two Earths on there.
Always really liked their take on the Crime Syndicate, Owlman, and the multiverse.

I mean it's an adapation of popular story and it has the iconic (but badly directed in this film) Kevin conroy batman and Mark Hamill joker. So in not shocked. Even if the film isn't great loll.

"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."To be fair, the actual Killing Joke part of that adaptation is great.
It's the tacked on godawful Bruce Timm intro that people don't like.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Oh yeah. Hamill's part is rather mesmerizing. Since he's now retired as Joker after Conroy died. In going to miss him in this role.
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."Thankfully, we do have one last performance for him lined up once Multiversus comes back next year.
Disney100 Marathon | DreamWorks MarathonThe Wonder Woman movie beating The Killing Joke is quite a surprise.
Yeah I was always under the assumption Wonder Woman and First Flight didn't sell well.
I found Troy Baker has done excellent jobs as both Batman and Joker. He even voiced both in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles crossover. Despite this talent, Conroy and Hamill are irreplaceable.
Surprised the Killing Joke isn't lower considering how poorly it's aged and how the adaption apparently made things worse. I haven't seen it so don't take my word for it.

From what I hear, Wonder Woman at least had great legs. It wasn't number 1 but it was number 5 and consistently stayed in that place.
But DC only wants immediate gains so they branded it a failure despite it doing fairly well for itself.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Another day, another Crisis on Infinite Earths!
Huh. Was kinda wondering if we'd see any incarnations from other dc animated works on this. But doesn't seem so unless I'm missing something.
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."That list seems heavily weighted to the earlier movies. Did audiences just stop caring, or did DC just stop promoting the line as heavily as it went on.
The latest one is Killing Joke which obviously generated a lot of hype.
Were the DKR adaptions any good?
"This video contains content from Warner Bros. Entertainment, who has blocked it on copyright grounds."
What was it?
The Protomen enhanced my life. The DKR adaptions were very good, and very faithful other than the lack of Batman’s internal monologue (which does admittedly take something away from it, but still).
Oh boy. I can't wait to see how they adapt the part where in order to recruit Killer Frost, Psycho-Pirate brainwashes her into being in love with Firestorm.
tbf, it was temporary and Firestorm was really awkward about it and not taking advantage of her.
x3 It might've been the longer trailer that wasn't supposed to be released, for some reason.
Here's the official (shorter) trailer.
Was Batman even involved in the original Crisis?
The Protomen enhanced my life.Pretty much everyone was involved in the original Crisis, but Batman was not a major character to my recollection. His Earth 2 daughter died at the end IIRC.
The animated films top out around 70 minutes and don't go much past that, so a 100 minute story is unlikely as they would have to break it into two 70 minute movies to justify it.
There is a lot of things going against a Kingdom Come adaptation, as it's very similar to Watchmen. Most obvious is the appeal comes from the Alex Ross art, every panel is a painting and would be exceptionally difficult to replicate even partially without a cinematic budget. It's also fairly light in the action, mostly concentrated in the climax. The narrative is heavily fragmented, it needs the Framing Device to make any sense because of how quickly it skips over major plot points.
Do you not know that in the service one must always choose the lesser of two weevils!
