I never said I liked him, but in the fandom that shall not be named when you are involved, they treat him like God or something, something I just can not understand. I figure hiring some popular writers from popular tv shows should turn things around someway. Unfortunately, I nor you can choose who writes what. let's just roll with it for now.
"We be we baby!"Spoken for truth - I'd rather see nything new coming out of this succeed than be seen as just another vapid, girly - girl shamefest. I'm not saying your suggestion is bad. It just takes more than one person to make it work.
New Web Browser, same old Shokew.Really? I was under the impression that most of them couldn't stand him.
Yep, I'm still here. It's gone back and forth. I think. Mainly in tandem with the growing acceptance of a certain radical change he introduced (or at least his name got stuck on it) halfway through the run.
There is no beginning. There is no end. There is only... Hooty.Blowing the dust off this thread and having checked some episodes out, what do people think of the show nowadays? Like it definitely doesn't have the same huge attention as the sister show My Little Pony Friendship is Magic, but has the show held up pretty well?
I watched a couple episodes. It's not something I would highly recommend, but it's still a cute watch. I like most of the characters and the animation is solid.
I wonder what's next for the franchise as a whole. A World of Our Own didn't really go anywhere, and there's no sign of the next big reboot.
I'm sure it's been brought up already, but does anyone remember the 90s "Littlest Pet Shop" series?
pretty sure that as niche as you're going to get
New theme music also a boxI think the franchise is dead. I haven't even seen Littlest Pet Shop toys for a long time and the last TV show they did was quickly forgotten.
Admittedly the lack of activity from the franchise for a while and A World Of Our Own being even less successful than the 2012 show could be from how the Hasbro animation side has been in quite a state of transition between Hasbro Studios/Allspark Animation being absorbed into Entertainment One in 2020 and in turn being sold to Lionsgate in 2023, plus Boulder Media splitting from Hasbro in 2022 and DHX Media being rebranded into Wild Brain in 2019. Heck, Discover Family hasn't even had original animated programming since Pony Life ended, so that's making it difficult to find a new network with MLP Gen 5 and most Transformers production (since 2020) being on Netflix and Transformers Earth Spark being on Nickelodeon now with Atomic Cartoons producing Make Your Mark now and Lil Critter Workshop producing Tell Your Tale.
Huh. Just found out that the franchise is supposed to come back. Soon as next year. Hopefully another cartoon comes with it.
Hypothetically if this show had come out before My Little Pony Friendship is Magic, would it have been more successful (given it was always stuck in that show's shadow when it was airing)?
So, anyone wonder how interaction between Blythe and Fluttershy/Rarity would go?
Any reason why Nicole Oliver never did her own singing as Zoe Trent? Considering she did her own singing as Princess Celestia (who sounds pretty close to Zoe Trent) on My Little Pony, it's not like Nicole can't sing.
probably a factor of time or money generally.
New theme music also a boxHi everyone, new troper here and this my first post on this discussion.
Since today is April Fools, do you think this would be Pepper's favorite holiday?
Yeah, but he alone won't be enough - one person (that you happen to like) can't save a whole project. Not unless he/she is a God at this juncture.
Besides, I'm more than confident he won't be working on this new show I'm hearing rumors about...
