my favorite part of the second episode was the Beavers and/or the 6 camera's in a row being destroyed.
I am definitely keeping an eye on this show.
Hey, has anyone seen those weird scrambled messages at the end of the credits? Has anyone tried to figure those out yet?

The one at the end of the First one says "Welcome to Gravity Falls" This one said "Next Week: Return to Butt Island"
It really offends me that this show feels the need to use cheap gimmicks, like clever writing, multiple styles of comedy, and memorable characters.
This show will tank horribly. It has continuity and an overarching plot. It will confuse kids who hate that stuff.
Yeah, I'm officially won over now, especially after hearing that this show will have a Myth Arc.
"I am pretending to write something down" Jesus that was great.
They're solved by taking the alphabet and going three letters before the letter you see. So a D would translate to an A. A would be an X, etc, etc .
Ah. Thanks.
Got the first episode on iTunes, watched the second episode on the Disney site. I already love this show. It feels like a strange combination of Scooby Doo and Invader Zim.
Watched the first episode, was pretty impressed.
I'm digging the music. I swear it almost sounded Chip Tune-esque at some points. And I cannot believe this guy has already planned out a three-season myth arc. How awesome will this show be if it all turns out alright?

Very. Cannot wait for tonight's episode.
Wow, I really like this show. It's a good example of why I love young protagonists; their curiosity and lighthearted nature towards the weird and strange makes for interesting adventures.
Call me a fan.
The animation is perfect. The characters are exaggerated just enough that I'm not thrown off by them, but round and silly that I feel comfortable with them. The backgrounds are amazing, I've always loved the "American forest" and I think Oregon is a good place.
And the humor is genuine too. Mable is seriously female Flapjack and I do not mind that at all, and Dipper is just snarky enough that I'm not annoyed. Both characters are really perfect. Soos is an interesting take on two different character tropes, Wendy had only two lines but I already like her, and Stan has some classic stuff.
And a myth arc? Hell yes. Knew it.
I'm pretty sure the concept of Law having limits was a translation error. -WanderlustwarriorOk I think the third one was the best so far. Hopefully the show can keep this up.
The secret Code this Episode was "He's still in the vents"

How are you figuring out these codes so fast?
It's the same Cypher for each message. a Caeser Cipher. http://www.secretcodebreaker.com/caesar-cipher.html
He sneezes like a kitten.
This show is pretty adorable and just witty in general.
Good job, Disney. Too bad I have to suffer through ANT Farm commercials.
I'm pretty sure the concept of Law having limits was a translation error. -WanderlustwarriorSorry for the double post, but uh, this is interesting.
In the opening, near the end, the screen flickers with a page from the book Dipper finds. There's a secret code to the right, and it translates to Stan is not what he seems.
This is a quality cartoon.
I'm pretty sure the concept of Law having limits was a translation error. -WanderlustwarriorI'm amazed at how well this show manages to distract you from just how dark it actually is when you start to think about it.
I think this show is going to do a great job giving me something to look forward to watching on TV each week now that everything else is currently on break.
Oh god, homicidal wax-figures and Larry King's head? I'm officially in love with this show now.
2 to 1 says that both the gnomes and Larry King's head make a return later on if this series lasts long enough. 4 to 1 says they'll help form the shows version of a Legion of Doom. 3 to 1 says they'll all launch revenge plots at the same time in a way that makes Dipper think they've formed a legion of doom when it's actually just one big heaping coincidence.

So apparently, they actually did get Coolio and Larry King to voice their wax counterparts. and they also got John Oliver to voice Wax Sherlock Holmes.
Clip from next week's episode.
Llamas are nature's greatest warriors.
That seems to be the fat guy with the pompadour who showed up in the show's intro and on Dipper's newspaper in episode two.

I put on my robe and tinfoil hat...He shows up in the background of every episode so far, he wears strange clothes, and he appears to be looking for things on the ground.
I'm wondering if this will turn out like The Snail
