If the executives were smart, they’d appease the stockholders by cutting their own oversized salaries rather than hurting the films and the creators who make them.

they don't do that for being stupid thet do it by being greedy
Greedy = stupid.
The Owl House and Coyote Vs Acme are my Roman Empire. On the contrary, a lot of greed is done due to sliminess. People assume executives are doing dumb shit when in fact more often it's intentional.
In any case though it sucks, although I'm going to assume outsourcing wouldn't really hurt too much in quality.
Death is a companion. We should cherish Death as we cherish Life.Let's hope that these animators that don't work on Dream Works anymore had found new jobs. Anyway, there has been some rumours that the next sequel for Dream Works in 2025 is The Bad Guys, I don't know if this is real or just a speculation, so I'm not going to jump into the conclusion until further news.

You know the recent DreamWorks Animation intro, where the boy in the moon gets to meet the various characters from movies like How to Train Your Dragon, Kung Fu Panda and The Bad Guys (2022)?
Yeah, they really should consider adding Megamind to the montage.

If you play with fire, you're gonna get burned.A sequel to The Bad Guys has been announced for August of next year. Source is Deadline. https://deadline.com/2024/03/the-bad-guys-2-release-date-1235868833/
The Owl House and Coyote Vs Acme are my Roman Empire.Oooh! Glad that Bad Guys is getting a sequel! I really enjoyed the first movie!
I love animation, TV, movies, YOU NAME IT!It’s good and good for you.
Princess Aurora is underrated, pass it on.It’s a good sign that DreamWorks is still announcing new movies like this.
The Owl House and Coyote Vs Acme are my Roman Empire. You think they'll bring back the alien plotline from the books?
Also between this and Zootopia 2, 2025 is gonna be a real good year for furries.
So the rumours are true then, but still, is Sony Imageworks helping with this project or is other studios? Remember that Dream Works is going to outsource their films after The Wild Robot.
My understanding is 20% of the film will be done at Sony ImageWorks Canada.
The Owl House and Coyote Vs Acme are my Roman Empire. What about the other 80?
In house at DreamWorks.
The Owl House and Coyote Vs Acme are my Roman Empire.Probably it will be more than 20% thanks to the layoffs, but I guess this percentage will make sense given how greedy are the studios executives.
Okay, from what I heard from this Tweet, Dream Works will handle half of the assets and 1 hour of the animation, plus all the creative front end. Sony Imageworks will handle the other half and 20 minutes animation. https://twitter.com/Alberto9Herrera/status/1772728615127429361

We’ll see. Does The Bad Guys have a thread of its own?
Also it indicates that the amounts can change. Hoping that the movie isn’t just 80 minutes. Or if it is, that amount won’t include credits.
Like 92-95 minutes. The limit on runtime is such a weird rule. I saw Ghostbusters Frozen Empire this last weekend and that movie pushed two hours. And there WERE kids in the audience.

Why do fish and marine animals have an entire New York City underwater? Don’t read into it too much, you will go mad.
The Owl House and Coyote Vs Acme are my Roman Empire.Bumping with a video going in depth in the Dragons land at Universal’s new Epic Universe park:
Outsourcing happens all the time in animation so I'm not too shocked by this development, but as everyone knows once you start outsourcing you can't stop because they don't always stay the cheap alternative
