* TheFettered: Drilley makes a point that as her squad essentially makes a living off of valuable minerals and rare jewels, there are much more unscrupulous ways of doing business, but the duo insist on making a living the fair and honorable way without relying on underhanded tactics. When questioned by Anis about why she chooses to follow a code of honor in a world that is very unfair and unkind to them, Drilley proclaims that she believes in the power of listening to a conscience, and that doing otherwise would be a very difficult path to live.

Added DiffLines:

* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: She's not the most approachable of people and tends to lash out throughout Chapter 29 and 30 whenever she thinks the others are giving up the search for the missing Nikkes. However, this is only out of sincere concern for Hammering and desire to save her, not wanting [[MoralityChain such a moral person]] to die down in the caves.

Added DiffLines:

* WeakWilled: Revealed to be teetering on the brink of this during a chat with the rest of the search team, admitting that she'd have likely given in and cut corners to make a living had [[NiceGirl Hammering]] not been there to [[MoralityChain convince her otherwise]].

Added DiffLines:

* TranquilFury: She remains mostly soft spoken and calm even as [[spoiler:she's ripping into Liveryn for taking another job from [[ArcVillain Sixo]] despite swearing they wouldn't.]]

Added DiffLines:

* MoralityChain: To Drilley, being the one to remind her about the value of making an honest living, even in a dishonest world, and helping keep Drilley on track where she might have faltered on her own.

* CassandraTruth: Trony always knew that the sky above the Ark was artificial, even when she was a human child, and tried to tell others that her dream was to see the real sky. No one believed her until that fateful day when the Big Three ran an advertisement on the Dome of Eternity, horrifying the Ark's residents and causing mass chaos and disarray.
* DarkAndTroubledPast: Whatever happened when she and Elegg created the converter left her with deep emotional and psychological scars, to the point where when threatened by Missilis with a memory wipe, an act that is functionally tantamount to death, [[DrivenToSuicide she resigns herself to her fate]] in hopes that it will erase her pain.

* {{Hikikomori}}: After she and Elegg finished building the Ark's power converter, as well as [[spoiler:learning the truth behind the Ark's seemingly infinite energy supply]], she shut herself in her room, and hasn't left it since.
* ShrinkingViolet: To say Trony isn't good with crowds is an understatement. The moment she steps outside to visit the Ark Gaming Expo, she gets cold feet and immediately wants to go home, Ark Rangers' meet-and-greet be damned.
* SupportPartyMember: When she joins the team in Chapter 29, she freaks out about the prospects of heading into uncharted territory, especially one filled with hostile Raptures and weird electricity-draining crystals, so the Commander allows her to stay at Reclamation Site 01 and serve a supporting role by helping Shifty with analytical work.

Expanded on Syuen → Bad Boss

Added DiffLines:

** At the end of Chapter 16, she is seen hitting Yuni and Mihara. Why? To vent her anger at the protests against the usage of "technology" she, to put it charitably, appropriated in order to improve Missilis' stock prices; something neither member of the Wardress has a ''single'' thing to do with.

Hid Indivilia's and Grave's names under Rapi → Kick Chick behind the spoiler tag, added an instance of Guns Are Worthless to Rapi

* GunsAreWorthless: As of Chapter 30, as far as offensive capabilities are concerned, Rapi, who is not the type to overestimate herself, considers herself more powerful than her own firearm: when [[spoiler:Grave]]'s defenses proved impervious to Militaria's fire, Rapi decided that "her fists will have to do". The only other Nikke who can boast the ability to overpower her own weapon is '''Dorothy''', the second most powerful member of the Goddess Squad after [[SuperPrototype Liliweiss]].

* SympathyForTheDevil: {{Deconstructed|Trope}} post-mind wipe. Her complete lack of memories means that she has no reason to hate the Raptures, and early in Chapter 14 she even soothes one that's dying in the aftermath of a fight, wondering why humanity needs to fight them. ! The Raptures

[[folder:Raptures in General]]
* AdmiringTheAbomination: There is a sidequest chain involving a person named Raptilion, who views the Raptures as akin to a fascinating animal species and wants to spread Rapture appreciation to others. The Commander winds up being roped into their pro-Rapture antics, including donning a homemade Rapture camouflage to blend in and interact with Raptures. [[spoiler:At the end of his questline, he is about to be arrested by Ark Central Government forces for colluding with Raptures when he is suddenly saved by Raptures despite his cover already being blown. He proceeds to ride off into the sunset with his new Rapture friends, with his final message to the Commander having him wondering if Raptures really are the enemy of humanity.]]
* AlwaysChaoticEvil: They want nothing more than to kill every last human and Nikke on Earth.
** [[spoiler:Subverted in a side quest series with a human that nicknamed himself "Raptilion." He's a blogger incredibly interested in Raptures and puts together a shoddy Rapture costume before heading to the surface. At first this seems a case of TooDumbToLive, but he surprisingly manages to mimic Rapture noises and movements close enough for them to not attack him, and is able to replicate this by giving the Commander a functional costume as well. He sees the Raptures as his friends just because they don't attack him while in costume, which still doesn't sound sane of him. However, when a team of Nikkes is sent to capture him for being sympathetic to Raptures, those same Raptures he had been hanging out with actually rescue him despite his costume being trashed and leaving his human body plainly viewable. In his final transmission before he rides a Rapture out of communication range, he tells the Commander that the Raptures no longer attack him despite his broken costume, and wonders if it was a lie that Raptures were the ones originally aggressive to humans.]]
** [[spoiler:Scarlet's Bond episodes reveal that, should Raptures come across an unarmed human, they will attempt to take them alive so long as they do not fight back. Why they do so, and what happens to those they capture, is unknown, and they will attempt to kill any Nikke they find, regardless of whether they are armed or showing aggression]].
* TheAssimilator: The Raptures have "Material H", a strange substance that can convert compatible parts of any captured Nikke into more of itself and is used for Heretics and their equipment. The Rapture have an entire facility dedicated to 'producing' more of it.
* AttackItsWeakPoint: Shooting a Rapture in the core inflicts a Core Hit and deals much more damage, indicated by a red number appearing.
* BigBadEnsemble: The Raptures are the main antagonistic force in the story, being human-killing machines that want exterminate what's left. They are lead by Heretics, Nikke-like androids who want revenge against humanity, and above them is the Rapture Queen who controls all Rapture operations.
* {{EMP}}: Alva Particles are a type of electromagnetic interference particle that is predominantly spread by Raptures. At surface level concentrations they typically interfere with communications and need to be dispersed before surface operation teams can establish contact with the Ark. At extremely high concentrations, however, Alva Particles can have EMP-like effects, causing electronics to spontaneously fail and directly impairing or disabling Nikkes.
* ItCanThink: [[spoiler:The heroes discover first-hand that the Rapture are not the mindless beasts they had been seen as for a long time. Their first official mission results in them encountering Raptures operating a human power plant, demonstrating human-like intelligence, and they soon run into Chatterbox, a powerful Rapture who is not only intelligent but can also speak human language.]]
* MechaMooks: The bulk of the Raptures' mechanical hordes are rather easily disposable, though in large numbers they can pose a credible threat.
* MechanicalMonster: The Rapture hordes are occasionally joined by a high-class Rapture, which serves as a stage boss and is both powerful and monstrous in appearance.
* MindVirus: It is revealed in Chapter 12 that this is how Rapture corruption works, by [[spoiler:injecting malicious code into a Nikke's body that hijacks the NIMPH in their brains, forcing their brain to involuntarily fire off neurons against its will and effectively becoming mind-controlled by the Rapture. [[ImmuneToMindControl Rapi discovers that she is immune]] for the same reason she is immune to memory erasure: since the NIMPH in her brain was destroyed by Vapaus, she cannot be corrupted]].
* MultipleLifeBars: Major boss Raptures have several health bars overlaying one another. Luckily, CognizantLimbs is in effect, where attacking a boss part not only depletes boss health, but destroying a part deals massive bonus damage to the boss's health gauge.

* BigBad: Thus far the clearest hint at an overarching antagonist, although as of yet the Ark's inane politics have proven to be the most consistent obstacle in Counters' way.
* CanonCharacterAllAlong: The end of Snow White's ''White Memory'' text adventure in the ''OVER ZONE'' event heavily implies that the Rapture Queen is [[spoiler:Lilith, the former leader of the Goddess squad, whose head and brain were stolen from her Nikke body. The trauma of seeing this made Snow White [[GoMadFromTheRevelation undergo a Mind Switch]], losing all memory of the incident until she recovered her archived recollections sometime later. Lilith's coffin is shown to be sealed again in scenes that take place after this occurs, hinting that Snow White covered it up to spare her squadmates the pain of knowing what had happened, and explains her solitary pursuit of the Queen in the present day.]]
* TheGhost: We have yet to see her, or ''it''. Whoever or whatever the Queen is, the only thing that's important at the moment is understanding they desire the extinction of mankind.
* ManipulativeBitch: [[spoiler:The ''Memory Of Goddess'' bullet hell minigame's final level plays a cutscene that reveals the Queen can speak to and influence Nikkes through Rapture corruption, and she tricks Cinderella into becoming one of her agents by telling her Nikkes that look like her are [[BlatantLies actually Raptures in disguise.]] Cinderella's ensuing attack on Goddess squad at the Lift single handedly destroys humanity's chances of reclaiming the surface, and they're forced to retreat underground in the Ark and thus setting the entire narrative of the game into motion.]]

* AllYourPowersCombined: Implied to be capable of this. * BackFromTheDead: Chatterbox is brought back in Chapter 23 thanks to Nihilister sneaking into M.M.R and releasing Material H into the room holding its remains, reconstructing and reactivating it.
* BattleThemeMusic: It has two theme songs. "Slaughterer" and "You Can't Stop Us."
* BorrowedCatchphrase: When it shows back up to attack Counters in Chapter 13, Chatterbox declares "Engaging!" before initiating combat as a form of mockery.

Also, tries to get Chime to divulge information about the castle that it and Indivilia already know just for the sake of breaking her down, with [[DefiantToTheEnd similar]] [[GetItOverWith results]].
* DealWithTheDevil: It is the 'Devil' in question when it comes to his deal with Enikk, the Central AI of the Ark: In exchange for periodically implanting the Rapture corruption code into randomly selected Nikkes, Chatterbox will refrain from letting the Raptures attack the Ark directly and allow humanity to survive in some fashion.
* DisneyVillainDeath: [[ZigZaggingTrope Zig-zagged]]. In the climax of ''Last Kingdom'', it gets its head ripped off of its body by T.A.L.O.S. and thrown far, far away. While the rest of its body disintegrates, the way it's been handled is arguably less lethal than what it has been subjected to in Chapter 13, [[CaptainObvious after which he was revived]].
* TheDragon: To Nihilister, who describes it as a favourite underling of hers.
* EvilLaugh: It laughs up a storm in its final moments as it realizes that its gambit to screw Counters over one last time has succeeded.
* FluffyTheTerrible: Nobody would expect a monstrosity that vaguely resembles a robotic gorilla to be named "Chatterbox".
* HealingFactor: Chatterbox possesses the ability to regenerate lost limbs with enough time. It actively exploits this ability to take out Mihara when it's first encountered by Team Counters, ''dismembering itself'' after Mihara uses her pain receptor swap ability on it to overload her with the feedback and incapacitate her, before regenerating the missing limbs.
* ItCanThink:
** Raptures typically possess the intelligence of extremely murderous animals at best. Chatterbox however, in addition to being able to talk, actually has a long-term plan in mind involving the truth about what the Commander actually is and actually takes the commander as a hostage instead of just kill him on sight like every other rapture would do. As Chapter 20 reveals, this was because it wanted to deliver him to its boss, Nihilister.
** During ''Last Kingdom'', Chatterbox rebukes Indivilia's plan to just kill everyone within Crown's castle, realizing that, despite the castle itself being a worthless location that the Nikkes within should have abandonded long ago, they still fought tooth and nail to defend it. This leads it to believe that the castle must hold a secret so important they are willing to guard it with their lives.
* KickTheDog: Its last act before being destroyed is to essentially turn Modernia into an unresponsive vegetable via direct injection of Rapture code into her brain, just as [[FightingFromTheInside Marian's personality had resurfaced]]. Andersen even says as much that Chatterbox did it entirely out of spite.
* KilledOffForReal: Gets destroyed by Snow White and Counters during the assault on the Rapture facility in Chapter 13. [[SubvertedTrope Pity it doesn't last.]]
* KnightOfCerebus: Every scene with him is deadly serious. Someone is going to get maimed or hurt the moment he shows up.
* LastBreathBullet: Determined to take down at least one of the heroes before Snow White kills it, Chatterbox's head falls out of the sky and strikes Marian directly, causing her corruption to relapse despite the absence of NIMPH in her brain. Immediately afterwards, Snow White destroys what's left of it, killing it permanently.
* OffWithHisHead: At the climax of ''Last Kingdom'' Story 2 Chapter 11, [[spoiler:T.A.L.O.S. shoves its right arm into Chatterbox's neck and fires a barrage of gunfire into it, severing it enough for T.A.L.O.S. to rip Chatterbox's head from his body and chuck it into the horizon, seemingly killing him.]]
* PowerCopying: ''Last Kingdom'' reveals [[spoiler:Chatterbox can obtain new powers based on what he consumes, with him possessing nanomachines that allow him to warp the shape of his body according to his abilities. He uses the abilities of Nihilister in Story 2 Chapter 11 to transform his arms into dragon heads and spew flame at the heroes, incapacitating most of them except for Kilo and T.A.L.O.S.]]
* StarterVillain: While Syuen is the first named antagonist Counters faces, Chatterbox is the first intelligent Rapture they encounter and acts as a preview for the Heretics that will show up later in the game.
* StarterVillainStays: Chatterbox is the first Rapture antagonist Counters faces, and absolutely refuses to stay dead or leave the story - even after he's killed in Chapter 13, Nihilister revives him during her attack on the Ark, and he later aids Indivilia in attacking Crown and the White Knights during the ''Last Kingdom'' event.
* TopHeavyGuy: Chatterbox's upper body and arms are massive compared to his lower body and legs.
* UndyingLoyalty: To the Rapture Queen. It's revealed in Chapter 24 that Chatterbox owes his life to her for some unspecified reason, and as such he only answers to her orders.
* UngratefulBastard: Yes, she was being an entitled {{Jerkass}} about it, but Nihilister ''did'' resurrect Chatterbox along with bringing Indivilia to life. He repays her by cannibalizing and severely damaging her in order to repair his own damage after the three of them [[spoiler:get beaten badly by Rapi channelling the full might of ''[[SuperMode Red Riding Hood]]''.]]
* VillainousBreakdown:
** Once Snow White shows up as TheCavalry in Chapter 13, it actually starts yelling in anger at its ambush attempt on Counters being foiled.
--> '''Chatterbox''': You are all going to die here! All of you! No one is escaping!
** Another one happens during ''Last Kingdom'', when Marian is shown to still be on Humanity's side even after Chatterbox's attempt to manipulate her into rejoining the Raptures.
--> '''Chatterbox:''' Why is she still siding with these human imposters? You demons! What have you done to Marian?! \\
'''Chatterbox:''' How much more... How much more will you take from me?! My mission! My pride! Was that not enough? Now you're coming after my dreams?
* VillainsWantMercy: Zig-zagged. Upon being defeated by Snow White in Chapter 6, it asks for its life to be spared, which earns it a disgusted remark from Snow White, who thinks it's begging ''her'' for mercy. Except it's not.
--> '''Chatterbox''': Spare... me... \\
'''Snow White''': Are you begging for your life? Spare me your crocodile tears. What sinful force brought you into this world? \\
'''Chatterbox''': Please... spare... me... \\
'''Snow White''': Disgusting. \\
'''Chatterbox''': [[WhamLine My... Queen...]] \\

[[folder: Alteisen MK.VI]]
Once a weaponized train designed by Heavenly Ascension to raid and plunder, it was discovered by the Central Government and swiftly seized from them. However the train was made with rather obsolete technology and was thus abandoned and left to rot. When the Raptures took over it however, it became FAR from obsolete, and now roams the surface, becoming a large threat.
----
* BattleThemeMusic: ''[[https://youtu.be/2Z2LS4xnamg?si=tVXJFJCZWmWDg4ZD The Moving Fortress]]''.
* {{BFG}}: The giant particle cannon that the Alteisen is towing can unleash giant green beams of death that can OneHitKill almost any Nikke if you have equal or lower squad power.
* CognizantLimbs: It has separate gun and missile turrets that can attack and be destroyed independently of each other. When all turrets are destroyed, the Alteisen will pull back, and repair them, while simultaneously warming up its particle cannon main gun.
* LightningBruiser: Ever heard the phrase "hit by a runaway freight train"? The Alteisen will subject your Nikke squad to that saying literally. It's absolutely bristling with weapons, from smaller turrets and missile launchers, to the giant double barrel particle cannon that can cause a TotalPartyKill. It's also very heavily armored and can take quite the beating.
* MacrossMissileMassacre: It likes to shoot massive destructible missiles from the front engine. When it enters its second phase, it'll alternate between releasing missiles, and attempting to ram your squad.
* MilitaryMashupMachine: Despite being called a train, and looking like one, it uses treads like a tank to move independently from rails, and has a battleship grade main cannon.
* RammingAlwaysWorks: If you fail to destroy its interruption part in its second phase, it'll ram the train your squad is on, dealing moderate damage across your entire squad. It'll then follow up with a broadside blast that'll deal ''extreme'' amounts of damage.
* TraintopBattle: Your Nikke squad is on top of a train, fighting an enemy. The twist as that the enemy is ''also'' a train! And a very heavily armed and armored one at that!
* WaveMotionGun: That giant double barreled particle cannon isn't for show. Fail to destroy the interruption part in the first phase, and it'll sweep two giant green lasers across the screen, most likely ending your run right then and there.

!! Heretics
Heretics are Nikkes who betrayed mankind and pledged themselves to the Rapture Queen for their own interests. They are classified as Pilgrims, thus, playable Heretics can be seen [[Characters/GoddessOfVictoryNIKKEPilgrims here]].
----

[[folder:Heretics in general]]
* DarkActionGirl: They are all female by virtue of being traitorous Nikke, and serve as EliteMooks for the Raptures.
* SuperpowerLottery: Each Heretic is [[spoiler:a hybrid of Nikke and Rapture technology]], making them magnitudes more powerful than even unique Nikkes; as an example, [[spoiler:Modernia (formerly Marian)]] gained a suite of protection-based abilities including skin hardening and nullifying an explosion.
* TurnedOnTheirMasters: Each is a former Nikke, a FullConversionCyborg that was created to protect humanity against the Raptures, only to ultimately switch sides and attack humanity instead.

A Heretic--a Nikke-Rapture hybrid who has turned her back on mankind--who pilots a flying mech suit. She has a playful demeanor that is at odds with her violent actions... though she cuts a familiar figure.\\\

For tropes regarding [[spoiler:Modernia's playable appearance, see the "Marian" folder on the main page under Counters.]]
----
* DarkActionGirl: As a Nikke who commands the Raptures, even the Commander can feel the sheer malice emanating from her presence alone.
* DramaticUnmask: After Snow White and Counters defeat her in combat, her visor, which was previously shielding her eyes, shatters in the aftermath, [[spoiler:revealing her face to be identical to Marian's.]]
* EmptyEyes: [[spoiler:When the Commander jogs her memory by calling her name, Modernia briefly enters a mental crisis state as she overrides her programming, which is indicated by her eyes turning blank.]]
* {{Foreshadowing}}: Although Modernia is covered head to toe in Rapture armor, there are distinct elements of her character design that provide a hint to her real identity: [[spoiler:bandages wrapped around her head, alongside a side-tied ribbon in her hair. Her idle pose is even a mirror image of Marian]].
* HopeSpot: [[spoiler:Chapter 13 has the team finally getting through to her after contending with her attempt at HydePlaysJekyll, causing Marian to reawaken for real and even giving the Commander some much-needed triage... until a badly damaged Chatterbox intervenes and forces her into a vegetative state by injecting Rapture code directly into her brain.]]
* HumongousMecha: Rather than fighting the heroes on her own, she rides a massive jet-black Rapture mecha armed to the teeth with as many weapons as a mecha can hold.
* HydePlaysJekyll: [[spoiler:In Chapter 13, Modernia briefly plays some mind games with the team by acting enough like Marian that they drop their guards... before promptly spearing both Rapi and then the Commander with her tendrils.]]
* InterfaceSpoiler: If one looks really carefully at her design, [[spoiler:her visor can actually be seen sporting the Pilgrim logo branding, hinting at Marian's playable appearance. This is likely due to LazyArtist rather than plot implications, since Marian joins the Pilgrims later on and they seemingly couldn't be bothered editing a small detail of her [=Live2D=] model for consistency]].
** A minor example: a really astute player will notice that the name "Modernia" in the dialgoue box changes depending on whether Modernia [[spoiler:has full control over herself or Marian within her is trying to resurface.]] In Chapter 6, it changes to "???" when [[spoiler:Commander calls her Marian and manages to stir up the memories of her previous life,]] but in Chapter 13 her name remains "Modernia" even when it first seems that [[spoiler:Marian has finally come back]], which is the player's only clue that it's actually [[spoiler:[[HydePlaysJekyll Modernia pretending to be Marian]]]] until Rapi [[spoiler:asks her name, knowing that Modernia will not call herself Marian for fear of [[ShesBack reverse]] GrandTheftMe and all the pain that comes with it, if her screams in Chapter 6 are any indication]].
* MadnessMantra: [[spoiler: She only repeats "Commander. Commander. Commander. Commander. Commander." after being captured in Chapter 13, thanks to Chatterbox's interference.]]
* OhCrap: Her reaction when [[spoiler:Secret Body!Rapi]] breaks off a piece of her tentacle [[spoiler:after Material H failed to absorb her]] and throws it at her at beyond the speed of sound.
* RedEyesTakeWarning: She is revealed to have red eyes, befitting of her status as an enemy to mankind.
* TalkingIsAFreeAction: Somehow she has time to wonder aloud where is the sound from the piece of her tentacle flung at her from near-point blank range by [[spoiler:Secret Body!Rapi]] before she [[OhCrap realises]] that it travels at a supersonic speed.

One of the Heretic-type Nikkes fighting on the Raptures' side, debuting as the main antagonist of Chapter 20. The Commander and Counters can recruit her as part of an Investigation.
----
* AmbitionIsEvil: [[spoiler:Her primary motivation is to become the most powerful being on earth and take over everything, which also motivates her to plot to kill the Rapture Queen and take over her status. At the end of her investigation story, the Commander feels like this pure ambition will be her downfall.]]
* AmputationStopsSpread: [[spoiler:Nihilister severs her arm when Johan shoots it with Vapaus, stopping it from contaminating the rest of her bloodstream. That is, until Johan uses the ''rest'' of the Vapaus on her.]]
* AvengingTheVillain: [[spoiler:[[SubvertedTrope Subverted]], she does make mention of the Counters team destroying Chatterbox and refers to him as her favourite underling, but also admits that she's not really ''that'' attached to him and doesn't fight in his name when she battles Counters.]]
* BattleThemeMusic: She has two, "Inferno Of Nihilist" for her Phase 1 fight and "Burn It All" for Phase 2.
* BraggingThemeTune: Her Phase 2 music, ''Burn It All'', is effectively a massive string of boasts about how powerful Nihilister is and how she'll kill or drive insane anyone that tries to fight her with ease.
-->Do you think you will live today?\\
Oh I can make you die in pain, yeah!\\
You'll never see another day!\\
(I can crush you all the way!)\\
Gonna take you down today\\
And I will make you die in pain, yeah!\\
You'll go insaaane!\\
(Don't mess with me!)
* BreathWeapon: Spews extremely hot fire in her Cybernetic Dragon Form as her primary attack. Even in playable form, she normal gun shooting are fireballs shot from one of her two cybernetic dragon heads. Her playable skills also imply spewing fire in a large area.
* ClassicVillain: She embodies '''Pride''' and '''Greed''', while being RedAndBlackAndEvilAllOver.
* CruelMercy: [[spoiler:At the start of Chapter 25, Dorothy and Counters happen upon a heavily injured Nihilister, who was recently betrayed by Indivilia and Chatterbox and left for dead with grave wounds. With her pride in tatters, Nihilister begs her enemies to put her out of her misery, but Dorothy takes the opportunity to get back at her by calling in Eden for a pickup, forcing her to suffer just a little longer. The Commander at least offers her some pity by placing a camo tarp over her, protecting her from being cannibalized by Raptures before Inherit arrives.]]
* DidntSeeThatComing: At the climax of Chapter 20, Johan grabs the pistol given to the Commander and fires the Vapaus bullet at Nihilister, nailing her in the arm. Having already anticipated this outcome, Nihilister severs her arm to stop the Vapaus from entering the rest of her body and crippling her HealingFactor. [[spoiler:Unfortunately for her, she gets a little too smug because everyone currently on the field was under the impression that there was only one Vapaus bullet. Everyone except Johan, however, who secretly knew that there are multiple Vapaus bullets and empties the rest of the gun's clip into Nihilister, causing the Vapaus to take effect and put her out of commission.]]
* DirtyCoward: She talks a big game and is fully confident as long as she's got her HealingFactor. As soon as it's neutralised and she starts taking real damage, she's quick to beg for mercy.
* TheDragon: To the Rapture Queen, since Johan describes Nihilister as one of her elites.
* EatenAlive: [[spoiler:How she apparently goes out at the end of Chapter 24 when Chatterbox and Indivilia, sick of her trying to order them around and heavily damaged from Rapi unleashing ''Red Riding Hood's'' full strength on them, cannibalize her to repair themselves. Chapter 25 reveals she's still alive, but heavily damaged.]]
* ExtremeOmnivore: Her first bond story reveals she can eat metal to repair herself.
* FatalFlaw: '''Arrogance'''. Nihilister is VERY smug and self-assured with the massive level of power and influence she wields as a Rapture Heretic, which leads her to make bad mistakes in combat.
** She prefers to [[JustToyingWithThem play with]] and mock Counters and Inherit in their first bout, believing that with her very potent HealingFactor there's nothing that the Nikkes can do to her, instead of just going all-out and incinerating them as quickly as possible. [[spoiler:Even when Johan shoots her in the arm with the Vapaus bullet, forcing her to [[AputationStopsSpread amputate the limb]] to stop it spreading and disabling her nano-healing, she just stands there and crows about how doomed they are now that they've wasted their only trump card rather than counter-attack right away...allowing Johan to fire the ''rest'' of the clip into her chest, while everyone else takes the opportunity to drown her in firepower and severely damage her. She's only bailed out by [[VillainousRescue Liberalio]] showing up.]]
** She also overestimates her importance in the Rapture hierarchy and just how much respect or authority she actually commands, leading her to [[spoiler:try and boss around Chatterbox and Indivilia, all three of them heavily damaged from Rapi beating on them in full ''Red Riding Hood'' mode, while bragging about her successful gambit to resurrect them both. She learns the hard way that Chatterbox's foremost loyalty has [[UndyingLoyalty always been]] to the Rapture Queen instead of her, Indivilia [[UngratefulBastard doesn't quite feel]] ''that'' indebted to her for incarnating her in the first place...and both are willing to maim and cannibalize ''her'' to kickstart their own self-repairs and save themselves. By the time Counters and Dorothy come across her in Chapter 25, she's been critically damaged to the point of helplessness.]]
* FieryRedhead: Quite literally, she's a redhead with heat-based powers and quite the hunger for battle.
* HealingFactor: Nihilister possesses regenerative abilities similar to Chatterbox but significantly more powerful, allowing her to shrug off virtually any level of damage. Inherit's mission is to shoot her with Vapaus, which will neutralize the nanomachines in her body that make this possible and give them an opportunity to permanently kill her.
* LuredIntoATrap: [[spoiler:Enikk uses a signal to lure her to Counters' location when detecting her approaching The Ark in Chapter 22, deeming Counters the best chance they have to repel the Heretic.]]
* MetalMuncher: In her first Investigation event, Counters happens upon her chowing down on a smorgasbord of robotic parts and loose ends while waiting to recover her strength after being shot with Vapaus.
* MsExposition: Her Investigation story primarily serves as a way to convey lore about the Heretics and their parallels to Nikkes.
* MsFanservice: She's got quite the buxom and shapely figure, while running around in a ''see-through'' leotard. It's really only strategically placed portions of armour that keep her decent.
* PlayingPossum: [[spoiler:Dorothy shoots her down in Chapter 23, but as it turns out Nihilister planned on this happening and left a non-vital weak point conspicuously exposed such that it would make an easy target. Once she was downed, Nihilister was taken to M.M.R.'s secret holding facility, where she uses high concentrations of Alva Particles to knock out the Nikkes in the room so that she would have unmitigated access to Material H, letting her revive Indivilia and Chatterbox.]]
* PlayingWithFire: She is capable of generating enough heat to melt Nikkes into puddles if they get too close, not to mention all the fire she spews in her dragon form.
* RedAndBlackAndEvilAllOver: She sports long, shaggy crimson hair, red eyes and lips, and yet more red streaks accentuating her black armor and dragon heads. The same applies to her mechanical dragon form, not to mention in line with the volcanic theme she has. She's also got an unexplained bone to pick with humanity, making it her mission to kill them all, and practically toys with Counters when they first meet by making the Commander decide who must die (since she plans to kill everyone anyway, it's more like who dies first).
* ScaledUp: She can transform into a cybernetic dragon for rapid flight or to throw massive amounts of fire around.
* TheStarscream: If Nihilister's comment about her plan for killing the Rapture Queen is any indication, then she's been planning to backstab her boss since before Counters and Inherit came along.
* UnskilledButStrong: [[spoiler:Her rematch against Counters in Chapter 22 goes much smoother than the first time around even with her back to full strength, with Anis noting she's just "a one-trick pony" who relies far too much on brute strength.]]
* VillainsWantMercy: Shamelessly offers information on the Rapture Queen, even up to ''killing her herself'', to try and stop Counters and Inherit from killing her after they deal with her HealingFactor and start piling on the hurt.
* VillainTakesAnInterest: She singles out the Commander on first arrival and quickly takes him hostage to get a good look at him, believing that he has something she wants...which she intends to cut out of him, while referring to him as "the black box".
* YouHaveOutlivedYourUsefulness: [[spoiler:Come Chapter 24, Nihilister ends up getting seemingly cannibalized by Indivilia and Chatterbox to repair themselves after their defeat at the hands of Red Hood. By the time Dorothy and Counters find her in Chapter 25, she is barely alive with near-fatal injuries and her HealingFactor quickly failing.]]

Previously a Heretic prototype in the form Material H, being fed Nikkes and Nihilister giving her own weaponry in Chapter 24 allowed Indivilia to rise as a complete Heretic.
----
* AdmiringTheAbomination: During ''Last Kingdom'', Indivilia calls Chatterbox a "work of art" on multiple occasions, and seems fascinated in its ability to adapt by consuming other Raptures or [[spoiler:Heretics, like Nihilister]], eager to see what new forms it will take. Chatterbox, however, seems quite annoyed at her comments.
* AnimalMotifs: Scorpions - beyond having a stinger tail and [[OneWingedAngel turning into a giant mech scorpion]] when fought as a boss, [[spoiler:her decision to [[UngratefulBastard cannibalize Nihilister for parts after the latter went through hell to complete her]] brings to mind [[TheFarmerAndTheViper the Scorpion and the Frog]], though here the scorpion manages to come out ahead]].
* ArrogantKungFuGuy: Indivilia is naturally powerful due to her status as a Heretic, but she is so obssessed with toying with her food that by the time she realises that she needs to take her battles seriously her opponents already have the upper hand.
* BewareMyStingerTail: It's razor sharp and able to slice through Nikkes with ease, [[spoiler:as Anis and Neon find out the hard way.]]

Kilo and T.A.L.O.S. were out of commission after fighting Chatterbox and Pioneer were knocked out by its flame attack, Chime was, for all intents and purposes, a non-combatant, and Marian was unlikely to outmatch Indivilia. Instead, Indivilia took her sweet time rubbing her victory in Crown's face; just enough time, in fact, to [[HoistByHisOwnPetard fully charge]] her SuperMode]].
* HoistByHisOwnPetard: ''Last Kingdom'' reveals Indivilia can spread Alva Particles at an increased rate, which turns out to be [[spoiler:lethal for Crown, a fact Indivilia gleefully abuses to slowly kill her. A Grimms model Nikke constructed during the 1st Invasion who was intended to be the seventh member of the Goddess Squad. * LuckilyMyShieldWillProtectMe: Cinderella's weapon, Glass Slippers, is a massive coffin-shaped array of shields. Not only are they nigh-impenetrable, but she can telekinetically maneuver them with impossible speed and efficiency, giving her near-perfect invulnerability against all attacks and damage. They are also affixed with countless mirrors on their faces, which can be used to inflict apocalyptic damage by firing [[BeamSpam energy beams]] at them, causing the beams to reflect and refract off the shields to level battlefields with a rain of destruction. However, they are not totally unbeatable and can be weakened given a sufficient level of sustained damage, [[spoiler:which is how the Goddess Squad manages to deal with them during their final confrontation with her]].
* MindRape: [[spoiler:Her "Memory of Goddess" cutscene shows what it feels like to become corrupted, twisting and warping the desires of the host to serve the Rapture Queen.]]
* ThatWomanIsDead: Liliweiss tells the Goddess Squad that, after being corrupted, the Ark decided to stop calling her Cinderella, giving her the code name Anachiro.
* TheVoiceless: Throughout the ''Red Ash'' event, she does not say anything whenever she's onscreen.
* WeHardlyKnewYe: Cinderella is corrupted by the Raptures before Goddess ever gets a chance to meet her. [[spoiler:Anachiro is then seemingly eliminated by Red Hood and the Goddess Squad in their rematch at the end of ''Red Ash'' Story 2.]]
* TheWorfEffect: Her introduction to the story in ''Red Ash'' has her descend from the sky and bombard the Goddess Squad with a deluge of energy bullets, quickly overwhelming them to the point where even Liliweiss cannot hope to challenge her and forces the party to retreat. However, it is later surmised by Scarlet that Liliweiss could take Cinderella in a one-on-one battle and only couldn't do so at the time because she was trying to save her squadmates.
* YouWillBeSpared: [[spoiler:According to Liliweiss, Anachiro always leaves a single person alive wherever she causes destruction, as if to leave a witness to spread word of her achievements.]]
* ZergRush: In her "Memory of Goddess" fight, one of her attacks involves rushing the player with a huge onslaught of [[MesACrowd body doubles]].

* ArrogantKungFuGuy: Indivilia is naturally powerful due to her status as a Heretic, but she is so obssessed with toying with her food that by the time she realises that she needs to take her battles seriously her opponents already have the upper hand.
