I love Athena. At first, I kinda thought her serious edgyness and dark backstory was just a poorly-written excuse for her to be an asshole to everyone she met, but as her character arc progressed, my love for her grew and grew. I can't get enough of my goth gargoyle wife.

Yeah! I feel like the dark backstory was more well written than most other characters in general, and she'd definitely make make my top 5. I also love her relationship with Joanna. Their personalities work so well together!

I did not believe it when that Thomas fellow betrayed them all in the season finale. I legitimately thought he was a great dude.

Yeah, they built up Thomas pretty well as a likeable character. I thought that, if anybody, Edgar would be the one who betrays them.

I feel like Ford's use of fire magic really doesn't fit in with the show. Seriously, why would you have nothing fantastical in a show except for one fire magic user and someone with tentacle arms? It just doesn't fit in at all!

The next season's gonna take a more fantastic turn, I think. Jack quitting his job at the copy shop opens up some more opportunities.

I hope they'll be able to explore Jack's relationship with the Quarters more. All the scenes with them and Jack were really interesting, especially with the implication that Jack was going to leave his normal life behind and become part of their world. Him quitting his job only reinforces this idea further.

I know Johanna's a yandere, but are we not going to talk about how tragic that last scene of her was? I hope this isn't the last we see of her.

I think that feather we saw at the end of the episode heavily implies she could come back.

I've heard rumors that they're going to recast Rachel, is there any truth to this?

Wait, is it because her actor is in contention for that Marvel role? Ugh, I hope those rumors are false; she doesn’t seem like she’d be a good fit.

I've heard that they're considering Haywood for a role in that upcoming Wakanda series, but I highly doubt she'll drop out of her role as Rachel. Aside from the fact that she can easily deal with filming both shows, I'd imagine that recasting her would cause a controversy.

Agreed! I swear if that becomes an Aborted Arc, especially as it's one of the best arcs IMO.

I've heard rumors that a video game adaptation is in the works. Which seasons do you guys think it's gonna be based on? Or do you think they're gonna go for a completely original plot?

My bet is that it'll follow the plot of the first two seasons. Hopefully they'll skip over the events of "Something Weird and Wonderful", that episode sucked and had barely anything to do with the narrative.

I don't think it'll be very good :/. Usually a games based on a series = low effort cash grab.

I hope those rumors aren't true. This show really doesn't seem like it would make for a good game.
