Yup. I just trolled the entire Internet. Hells yeah.

Okay, I admit I over did it, but I still think the joke is somewhat overused, he used the Running Gag at least three times in which it's debuted, then again, I just don't like the joke.

And yes, I am a fan of the Nostalgia Critic, I just have problems with his reviews, sometimes, then again, don't we all?

The only running gag that I like is when he likens the events of the movie to a commercial.

Was "Adventure Ho!" ever a running gag? I've only seen it appear in two or three videos (all the Nickelodeon stuff).

"Adventure Ho" sort of started as a Running Gag, but quickly petered out and hasn't been heard from in a long time.

My favourite running gags are the non-verbal ones; Spoony's 'you've-gotta-be-shitting-me' face, Ask That Guy's yangire stare, Linkara's pout, Chester's disturbed-puppy look, the Chick's 'nice-girl-putting-up-with-bullshit' smile, Bennett's sadistic grin, the Critic's sleepy-deadpan eyes...

I think they're funnier just because of how unforced and natural they look. You know how sometimes you watch someone give a performance and it's really obvious they're faking all their facial expressions? I don't get that off them. Well, besides their facetious moments, obviously.

My favorite Running Gag is Ma-Ti. Almost every time he shows up, it's a Crowning Moment Of Funny.

By the way, can anyone pick out some of the religions he listed in the Siskel and Ebert tribute vid?

Meh, I found that last video rather dry and all the jokes felt very forced.

The NC isn't really funny unless he's making fun of something else.

I didn't watch the latest video, since I really don't like Ebert anymore. I read one of his more recent columns, and he just came across as a condescending snob- something that I consider to be the Moral Event Horizon in a critic. Pity. He used to be entertaining, but now I think he's full of himself.

So Judge Dredd, huh? I found it nearly all to be quite hilarious. Nearly everything except any Overly Long Gag repetitions of oddly spoken words in the movie. Here's a tip: don't try things that a twelve year old with a youtube account can do twice as good as you.

That said, where's my iPod?

Did anyone else watch that Let's Play of Terror T.R.A.X. a couple of weeks back? I think I might actually watch more of those. Long as it's Spoony doin' it; he's just the right amount of flippant and observant.

Spoony's let's plays are pretty entertaining, his Phantasmagoria runthrough, for example, is a four-and-a-half-hour-long piece of awesome.

Also, the most recent NC piece, Tank Girl. Personally, I hold Tank Girl as a Guilty Pleasure of sort. Yes it's cheesy, poorly acted and the pacing takes a dive near the middle, but... well, I found it highly entertaining, probably So Bad, It's Good, or just plain Narm Charm, but still.

Am I the only one that thinks that, going by just that review, the Judge Dredd movie doesn't seem THAT bad? Not good, but more So Okay, It's Average?

Yeah, that's agreeable, it's kind of generic though.

Also, regarding Tank Girl, am I the only one that seemed to get a FLCL vibe from the comics?

Hey, it just occurred to me. Bennett goes after the worst fics he can find, right?

... Does this mean he hasn't found [OMITTED]'s stuff yet? I mean, if he thinks freaking Aunt Zelda counts as 'the very best in the very worst', I cannot wait to see his reaction to her.

When Masterpiece Fanfic Theater debuted I heard his opening quote as "the very best and the very worst of fanfiction", so I was like, "Oh hey, he's showcasing both really bad AND really good fanfiction, that's neat, most people just focus on the bad stuff!". Then eventually due to mass confusion he confirmed he was saying "the very best IN the very worst". Now every time I hear him deliberately pronounce "IN", I feel like he's rubbing it in my face.

It's still pretty funny though, although I haven't watched the latest one. I checked the comments on the LJ it was posted on and I gotta admit, Linkara was kind of a jerk waiting for three comments before confirming that he had no problem with it. Probably gave the girl at least three heart attacks.

The comment pages don't turn for me; what happened?

Maybe he just needed time to decompress. It ain't every day you find people writin' rape-fic about not-you.

Basically two comments with little more than "O_o" before one that finally said "NAH IT'S COOL I DON'T MIND THAT MUCH". And Marzgurl never said anything beyond "O_o".

Why would she? Her romantic-subplot was tacked-on for comedic effect (can't have an extravaganza without some femmeslash!). I don't think I'd be able manage more than hysterical giggles, were I in her position.

Well, I'm glad for her that he came 'round in the end, considering how lyrically she waxes on the subject of all things Linkara-related on the Fetish Fuel and PSL Troper Tales pages.

Is that all her? I just thought every female on this site had a Linkara fetish, considering just about every aspect of him has been fantasized about and gushed over.

If it makes you feel any better I don't think a Spoony-obsession is entirely unfounded - Spoony is one fine-looking nerd.
