6 is good , I also think it doesn't really need the bottom two panels.

I don't mind removing the bottom two I was just concerned about people quibbling saying it was just a sign of being a spell caster not put there intentionally.

Actually question as much as I like my suggestions in 12, do they count for this trope? Is this trope about just being claimed by the supernatural or is it about getting a magical marking of some sort to show you are claimed? Because of the long lead in on the trope description itself I'm a bit confused.

I don't think the mark needs to be explicit, the trope is Claimed by the Supernatural and not Mark of the Supernatural. 12.2 works well.
