Kids Rock is an old article, dating back to at least 2008, and it shows. The title is already bad (it's about children singing the chorus, regardless of music genre), it has a quote that I don't think adds much because it's about one particular song and not the trend in general, and the entries have various bad editing practices:

However the deeper issue is that most entries just give a song and its singer. There is no indication of any meaning to a children's choir. Looking over the more substantial ones, it can be for work that are for children, that concern children, to give an aura of innocence to give it more poignancy (especially if there is an irony to it), or to create a creepy atmosphere. So I wonder if this is a single meaningful trope.

Stories don't tell us monsters exist; we knew that already. They show us that monsters can be trademarked and milked for years.

Misread the title as Kid Rock...

If the intended meaning is "There's nothing like borrowing the innocence of children to let people know how important your message is", then nearly all examples lack context.

Even if I knew these songs better, I don't know if I could add proper context to them.
