Pretty amusing and the dramatic artstyle combined with the childish writing works well to illustrate the kid fantasy aspect.

The image doesn't scream "intentional" to me.
Fighting Your Friend Orcus on His Throne will always be my pet peeve.
10/10. Displays the trope as well as it can. Really don't like that it's a Blizzard game being represented, but that's merely a personal issue.
"That is hard to argue or agree with." ~Penny8/10. It's pretty cute.
"Why do Hisuian Lilligant become extinct in the future? That kind of scares me..." - Hisuian Lilligant7/10.
Get's the point across.

8/10. It's one of the funniest South Park episodes for me.
Now that's what I call good cop, bad cop.10/10. It shows the concept of the trope without being intensely graphic about it, which is tricky to do. Old-school Yahtzee is a bonus.
It's been 3000 years…6/10.
It's serviceable. Maybe the Phalanx cover is so infamous that the weird marketing gimmick has lost its charm for me, but it's lacking that "wow" factor.
10/10 Demonstrates the trope flawlessly
8/10. It's pretty funny.
"Why do Hisuian Lilligant become extinct in the future? That kind of scares me..." - Hisuian Lilligant10/10, mostly for the shock that Ace the Bat-Hound is not a Canon Foreigner from the Krypto cartoons.
It's been 3000 years…6/10. A bit generic, but it does the job better than any other.
Everybody loves the me! I’m a great athlete!4/10. It's fine, I guess, but I would prefer a picture that focuses on the trope and not unrelated jokes.
It's been 3000 years…6/10. It works fine, but it could have been a little less subtle to deliver the point.
Only One Name "Why do Hisuian Lilligant become extinct in the future? That kind of scares me..." - Hisuian Lilligant
10/10. Funny and captures the trope perfectly.
fun fact: pro tip: breaking news: life hack: i can't find a good signature
6/10. It's a bit confusing, but that trope was BUPKIS if I remember correctly.
My plan is to trick you into thinking this is my signature when it’s not, then confuse you dead. Doubting my plan? Then it's working!10/10. Short and to the point.
Basically girl Beetlejuice and a big candle, but the skins are better than they sound.10/10. That poster goes hard.
Now that's what I call good cop, bad cop.9/10
Pretty much the defining example of the trope, and Wolverine being front and center makes it clear that this is (at least some of) the same people. The only point I'm knocking is because aesthetically I don't like images that are stitched together from multiple sources. Not that it makes the image bad, I just don't like how it looks.
9/10. Bit crowded, but it illustrates very well otherwise; good to include a regular-sized mook for reference.
back lol

Slightly literal, but the characters' expressions help sell it.
