Chapter 205 provides a most elegant solution to the quandary posed by the previous chapter: Unforgettable provides Nico the knowledge and imagination needed to use words like Buddhist principles and "resurrection" in the game. No points for guessing on what he used the latter for. Also absolute madman Nico immediately tells freshly revived Ichico that he is going to marry her and that they are going to have one kid. I also have to give my props to Language, who determines that Unforgettable is a serious threat, and tries to pull a Taking You with Me. But hell naw, we're on the golden route now!
We also have confirmation that the souls are the same across the loops. Everyone is truly here.
That info dump on souls also explains why Rip kept his power after being resurrected and Shen didn't.
The most recent chapter was great, now making Nico my 3rd favorite character (Fuko and Andy would be har to beat) since I loved his declaration of marriage and parenthood with Ichico (do wonder if them just having a child will result in Mico by default, or if they will need to do some shenanigans to ensure its her), being able to overcome the game after gaining Unforgettable, while also making sure to let Fuuko know she has been doing the right thing this loop. Amazing moments all-around.
God that chapter was incredible. Starting tearing up when Nico was talking about how grateful he was that Fuuko trusted in him despite his past sins.
Would you say this arc was⦠Unforgettable? HEE-HAW!
Chapter 206: To think the final word would be βmarriageβ. Now that is the epitome of a graceful loser. I also actually felt bad for Soul there, he was genuinely devastated to see Language done in.
Nico was very lucky, since now he didn't need to pay for the wedding rings, since his crazy ex (or rather stalker) gave them to him as a farewell gift . But really, it was very cool seeing how he is able top use his soul knowledge to be able to share his newfound knowledge with others, which I can see getting some future applications.
I agree, I also felt bad about Soul, and even Language a little, since there seems to be a real bond between (some?) of the master rules. The situation also made think about Spring, and wonder what would happen if the master rules didn't have the hatred of humanity "programmed" into them.
At the end of the day the Rules are pawns in Sun's game. So yeah, that's a likely possibility.
Feels weird to use Lithuanian for a Celtic(?) spear but then again Language did it first?
Secret Signature
Well it has something to do with souls so maybe get Soul to bring them back and plop them into new bodies?
