She's too busy trying to not take her nice parents for granted, because she sees her school life as just a front for trying to prolong Twilight's mission so that she can keep on having a family.
Seriously, I have nothing but the deepest of sympathies for Anya.
Must suck to be the Secret Secret-Keeper, always privy to everyone's knowledge but unable to actually help them beyond subtle means.
Of course that cat's gonna inevitability escape the bag one day.
It doesn't help that Anya does not have the mental or emotional maturity to realize how badly she's treating her only friend.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Chapter 24: putting the "lethal" in Lethal Chef.
A slightly more⦠conventional chapter than usual. Didn't expect one of Yor's coworkers to get some spotlight though.
New chapter is out, short but sweet.
Today's lesson: don't ask Yor to repair bodies.
So we're back to Anya's school adventures. Where she kinda sorta manages to help Sy-on Boy?
And we also learn that her mind-reading power disappears on new moon for some reason. Alas, this chapter doesn't take place during one, so Anya had to read Yuri's mind. The poor girl.
β¦I wondered what was the deal with the cookies at the end until I remembered they were made by Yor.
I cant believe Bond is dead.
Secret SignatureSadly⦠Yuri might not like Anya, but he did rush in to save her life there.
It's for the best that her mind-reading won't work during the test. Unless you get all the answers right, cheating on a written test is going to get you caught. Simply sitting across the room from Sy-on is not going to conceal cheating if he's getting scores in the low 90's and her test is identical to his. All that will do is get them accused of colluding, which will not only mean they both fail, but completely wrecks any chance of being friends with him.
She needed a Drama-Preserving Handicap anyway, and moon phases at least play into the Theme Naming.

In that case, it might've been better to let her get busted for cheating once.
But how could she be accused of cheating if they were far apart?
Wouldn't that be a solid alibi? Especially depending on what kind of test it is. If it has multiple choice or "yes or no" questions.
Do we know the "range" of her power anyway? How far can she hear someone's thoughts from? I assume no more than a few metersβ¦
Signaling, communication device, that sort of thing. Like I said, it would require collusion, but it's entirely plausible they'd jump to that conclusion.
Man, Yuri has some issues.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.@alekos23: Wait, what? That did not happen in this Chapter.
Bond ate crumbs from Yor's cookies.
chapter out. Sure hope this isnt the end of Daybreak's legend.
Secret Signatureβ¦I thought for sure that he was a Bunny-Ears Lawyer but nope, he really sucks that much at his job.
Now scoring just barely above failing grades in every single subject is impressive in its own way.
Is the passing grade in the school 30? I'm curious how she got those awful grades and still manage to pass, if only barely.
Especially since it sounds like it's out of a hundred.
It's just the way that Japanese grading works. At least according to other manga like 5Toubun. It's a bit hard to find a better explanation, because most online resources are about college grades/credits which have a different scale.
Yeah, I noticed that in several manga I translated. Seems like 30 is the failing grade in Japan rather than 50.
she can at least try not to take the person that's consistently nice to her for granted
I absolutely cannot help but adore handsome 2D boys
