Or it's that Color Splash is like twelve years younger than Thousand Year Door and not nearly as popular, so there is far less demand for a remake.
I think they were more talking about how Color Splash was one of the few Wii U games that hasn't gotten a Switch port.
Disney100 Marathon | DreamWorks MarathonColor Splash also didn't sell well from what I hear then again it was the Wii U so...
Mileena MadnessI really love Color Splash <3 One of my favorite Paper Mario games after the original!
The Protomen enhanced my life.Yeah, Color Splash not getting ported is part of the surprise. But hey, the Wii U needs something. Said somethings being it, Mario Party 10, Smash 4, Mario Maker 1, and Kirby and the Rainbow Curse.
And Xenoblade Chronicles X.
SoundCloudI have a negative feeling creeping on me that the TTYD remake won't be as good as everyone is expecting it to be.
Do we have a release date?
The Protomen enhanced my life.Just sometime in 2024.
It will be the same game, warts and all.
But with none of the tricks and sequence breaks, like Prologue Pit.
If the remake of The Thousand-Year Door turns out to be pretty much the same as the original GameCube version, I'd still be satisfied because I had a LOT of fun with the GameCube version. Being portable is also a big bonus for me.
As someone who went into the original game not knowing how Yoshi's color mechanic worked, I'm going to see if I can get either a blue or black Yoshi (probably blue) for my first Switch playthrough.
Black Yoshi was actually my first Yoshi since I always liked to put off the main story and look around the places.
Glitzville was very pretty to kid me.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.Mine was pink! His name was Andy.

The Protomen enhanced my life.I had a blue one, name of Drake.
Mine was orange and it took me a long time before I realized there WERE other colors.
Called him Edge because he felt like he had one.
TBH worried about which color he'll have now...

My first Yoshi was red, but I do not remember what I named him, since it was a while ago.
Here's a table of color and time.
Time Color
0-6 Minutes Green
6-9 Minutes Red
9-11 Minutes Blue
11-15 Minutes Orange
15-18 Minutes Pink
18-19 Minutes Black
19-20 Minutes White

I expect ttyd remake to just be the same game with maybe a few Qo L tweaks here and there. I don't think people are expecting anything else either.
They should have an incredibly tiny window where if you hatch Yoshi in it, he changes colors every screen.
-Witty line-I got Red on my first, green on my second.
I forgot which one I did after that, but at that point I knew how to select a colour.
I can't believe that "not even 1% said the story [of Super Paper Mario] was interesting [in a survey in Club Nintendo]" (source).
Did Miyamoto demand "only characters from the Super Mario world" in the Paper Mario series because he thought Super Paper Mario went too far with its story and original characters?

That's definitely possible. I found it hard to get into SPM when it first came out because it was so removed from the Mario world and its stories/aesthetics. The pixel stuff didn't do it for me.

Pretty sure that it’s more likely that they didn’t want to put in the work to deal with the game pad features for a game that didn’t appear to do that well from either a commercial or critical perspective.
