This feels like Eurogamer's article from right before the Switch was fully unveiled.

Isn't the only compatibility issue regarding joycons is whether they have the same buttons and gyro or not?

So it might actually be real? I'm interested in info of horsepower this new console will have since I've seen posts about 4k support on the dock.

For TV or kickstand play, sure. But they wouldn’t be able to attach to a magnetic Switch 2 for handheld play. Obviously it will come with a set of the new magnetic joycons, and older joycons will still be suitable for TV and multiplayer as long as there’s a way to charge them. My secondhand Switch came with a charging grip I can keep using, even if I were to trade in or sell the Switch instead of keeping it for my kids.

This Ars Technica article speculates that Nintendo or someone might produce a magnetic attachment to slide into the joycons’ rails and allow them to attach to the Switch 2.

At this point Switch 2 talk is white noise to me.

I just want to know if anything is planned for 2024 after the Dark Moon remake.

I was going to say Paper Mario:TTYD remake, but I remembered that comes out before Dark Moon.

Badass. I'm just waiting on the remake a decade down the line.

Return to Dreamland is more bang for your buck than Forgotten Land right?

I think Forgotten Land had longer levels? So long in fact that the game saves at checkpoints!

In terms of sheer quantity of content, yeah, probably. Bear in mind part of that is the game making you play through it twice if you want 100% completion, Extra Mode is barely different from the main mode aside from the boss battles. Forgor Land's equivalent is more streamlined.

Return to Dreamland Deluxe also has the Magolor Epilogue and a lot of minigames, however.

Known leaker Pyoro has posted the following picture of a Nintendo World Championships NES cart:

While some folks are thinking a knew NWC event or a port, a lot of folks are jumping to tie it into a possible next gen reveal, including me.

The speculation of a next gen reveal is based on the closeness to Nintendo's full year earnings report on Tuesday and the fact they specifically picked this image when searching for it, since it doesn't come up first.

Since Pyoro hasn't mentioned NSO like they did previously when leaking NSO reveals, people ave latched onto the fact that the 3rd switch on the cart is on. 1 minute 15 seconds = 75 seconds = 7/5. Since July 5th is on a Friday and the day after US Independence Day, the more likely date is May 7th.

Got my Wii U back. Turns out the fan needed to be replaced. Seán at Console Repairs Ireland turned it around super quickly.

Now I'm imagining all the pre release rumors of the Switch 2's specs were actually jus ta cover for the possibility the Switch 2 might be so much more powerful then anyone expected and blindside everyone.

With elden ring the complete edition as a lunch title.

Newly found Nintendo patent allows Joy Cons to reverse charge the console or other Joy Con if the console or other Joy Con has a lower battery.

While Nintendo patents that are revealed before a system are usually not a part of them, I really hope this one is.
