Anyone has any idea what dialect Konoha's speaking in? I get the feeling it probably isn't Osaka-ben because I don't hear any "hen"s.
She's speaking in Tohoku-ben.
Episode out. Jumps all over the place. Was wondering when they were going to pull something like the episode ending.
Apparently, "sister" is a damage type.
Your worried about coming on to strong now?
VP is great. "So you actually do realize it."
This is the episode when all the minor sane characters come out of the woodwork.
Episode 8. In which there's a fateful confrontation while the wind's blowing.
"It's a secret." Good way to wreck her sister. She's really good at it, actually. Consciously or not.
I liked Kobeni's glance at the fridge, just before Benio launched at her.
You know, the expectation when someone starts to think about something else in a gymnastics exercise is that they'll crash or somehow embarrass themselves. Not complete a routine.
To be fair to Konoha, it really is hard for her to figure out what Kobeni was thinking about. Also, Kobeni's laugh is awesome.
"Is a bit slow."
"Is really slow."
Is a little bit mean.
Benio is on occasion somewhat weird. When she isn't she's plainly insane.
"Did they cross the line? Did they hold hands?" Yeah, that's what you should be worried about...
"It's not a bad thing." And too many people think it is.
Yeah, Mayura is way sharper than she appears at times.
"I'm so envi—I mean..." Konoha does have a good head on her shoulders after all.
And once she gets the right gear in, she moves fast. Checking him out and asking him to marry her all at once. Though considering she doesn't consider him that highly, letting her down shouldn't be much of a problem emotionally for her (other than losing a rare chance). But it inevitable will be. Kobeni's reaction should be far more interesting.

Check out my fanfiction! If anything, I find it kind of interesting that they're not playing up the psycho lesbian angle. She worships Benio, but apparently considers herself straight.
Lots of good jokes this episode.
"That's not a bad thing." Hakuya knows what he likes.
Even Benio realizes that telling everything would creepy Kobeni out.
The Vice-president is great character too.
The scene on the roof was hilarious.
The cliffhanger can be resolved in less than a minute, but it will inevitably take at least half of the episode.
Good episode.
Oh yeah, that was nice change of peace.

It's not clear Konoha connects marriage and love at all. I liked Niko distracting her with photo's.
We know Hakuya is just gonna say "no" in a monotone. But he talks so slow that Kobeni may jump in before he has a chance to.
She probably thinks of marriage only as a vehicle for reproduction so her species won't die out. Then again, maybe she's only doing this because Mama Suetsugi said so.
Maybe he'll be so stunned he'll just stand there with mouth agape. Then Kobeni will jump out and declare war on Suetsugi.
Considering how this series has been so far though, he'll probably just say no and she'll be like "WHY?!" and things will end up resolved in like three minutes.

The fact she considers Hakuya to not really to be to her taste means that she does have some particular kind of guy she'd like.
Let me guess: charismatic and charming like Benio-sama.

I think she'd probably at least consider just bearing his children but otherwise leave him to Kobeni. It'd certainly be funny if they came to that solution.
Check out my fanfiction!Maybe not needed. I mean, they mention Kobeni having child-bearing hips in the ending every time.
Don't see what you mean.
Check out my fanfiction!Hopping in simply to say that I really do like this show, I just wish Benio wasn't such a freak. She seems like a decent enough person when she's not acting in ways that make small girls cry when she's mentioned... which is almost never.
It's been fun.Yeah, Benio is one of the things I like least about this show. She's too quirky and exaggerated.
FINALLY someone else besides me brings this up. I mean goddamn Benio. At this point it's not so much quirky as it is creepy.
I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialIt really escalated since episode 1, didn't it? Then it was quirky, now it's creepy.
I really get the impression that in the manga or light novel or whatever this comes from she is just quirky and they exaggerated the hell out of it. But yes, she's gotten creepy.
It's a 4koma, and sadly there's no one translating it. By the raws alone though (book 2! egads), Benio's portrayal is accurate. The creep factor is just more obvious because it's acted and voiced.

I mean, she's not creepy enough for me to hate her, it just seems like that's the entire extent of her character. She has an imouto-fetish.
I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialShe's basically there for comic relief and to drive the plot a bit. Although the only important thing she did IIRC was tell Kobeni about her accident.

Pretty much. I mean, the worst of it is that she doesn't seem like a bad person when she's focusing on something else, but that's almost never. She has no self-awareness, no shame, and she's not funny at all. Again, she's stalking a little girl. At this point the only time she's worth her screentime is when Kobeni is casually causing massive psychological damage to her.
And really, Suetsugi's a freak too. Being jealous of a girl being stalked by a pedophile?
It's been fun.Well, part of it is that she seems to have somehow managed to miss that Mashiro doesn't actually like Benio. When she figured it out she went "What, you don't like her? Weirdo." No more jealousy.
You know, it would be kinda hilarous if Benio and Kobeni turn out be domesticated Youkai. It would actually explain alot. Benio sparkles enough she may actually be a vampire. That whole explanation amused me. People will realize Masahiro is a kid if she puts on glasses maybe?
