Ahh, console video games (or vidcons as I call them). the ultimate medium of expression, able to convey any emotion ranging from hatred to love, loyalty to fear, all in front of our eyes. Ah, and with lovingly crafted art, music, and the ability to control the action, vidcons are the ultimate combination of the high arts. While I tend to play the stoic, I will be the first to admit that vidcons haven driven me to cry, to scream and shout, to feel actual hate; such is the power of this force beyond our wildest reckoning. And here I am, before you, to temp your tongues with the taint of such a tantalizing topic.
And the Japanese, the true geniuses behind the world of video games. Pah, I throw my scorn upon such incompetents of the West who would mock the true art of the Japanese with 'games' such as Baldur's Gate and Madden. Perhaps it is that the West is not as intelligent as the East, but this is a matter for another day. Japan has given us such masterpieces as the Final Fantasy series, Star Ocean, Wild Arms, and of course, Arc the Lad. Yes, some of the finest vidcons in the world were created by Japanese. I come to you today to ask you in all earnesty, what is your favorite vidcon? I will reveal mine after the grand debate has illustriously begun, but not before the first poster falls victim to my plot of discussion.
In other words, this is a thread on an imaginary forum our avatars frequent. The topic can fluctuate, and its mostly just general discussion.
Trying to construct something like that… It wouldn’t be worth it. Even publicizing the whole affair… The current Knave kept it a secret for a reason. Telling people would be more harm than good.
“You carry the aura of the stars, interesting...”
If you want my opinion, you should take this into your own hands and take this scoundrel down for good! In fact, I could help you and undo what he’s done.
Basically girl Beetlejuice and a big candle, but the skins are better than they sound.[1] I'm not sure if I understand, what's a Knave and why does he keep secrets? If the general public knows, they might know better how and when to protect themselves - or do you think that's gonna blow the cover on whatever investigations you're doing right now?

The Knave, also known as Arlecchino, real name Peruere, is the current head of the House of the Hearth, an orphanage operated by the Fatui. The children in her care call her “Father” (despite the fact that she is a woman). She killed the previous Knave, the one working with The Doctor, and took the title. She’s the 4th Harbinger, and that of course means I’m wary, but… She’s certainly more merciful than her predecessor.
As far as the general public knowing, that would put their lives in danger more than not knowing. The Doctor doesn’t act without reason, and I’m quite certain that experimental subjects are something he’s unfortunately got in surplus. His secrets being revealed to the world? Arlecchino is as good as gone, and whoever broke the story is… well, The Doctor’s MO is not to end things quickly.
As much as I said I want him dead, and as much as I believe that, I’m genuinely unsure if anyone is capable.
“You carry the aura of the stars, interesting...”
Do not be like that. The mountain before us is not always tall, not always a mountain. But if you give your heart and soul, you will achieve your goal and kill this villain.
Basically girl Beetlejuice and a big candle, but the skins are better than they sound.Do you think the Doctor would take the whole orphanage hostage if the story got out? Either way, best of luck.

I wouldn't put it past him, at the very least. There's not a lot that man is "above" doing.
“You carry the aura of the stars, interesting...”
That man sounds like a weakling. I would gladly tear out the heart of this coward.
Basically girl Beetlejuice and a big candle, but the skins are better than they sound.[1] Hmph, that sounds about right and it's probably best to not find out how low he can actually go.
I can't help thinking how bad those children suffered, I also wish the best to take care of that doctor.

Meet the Tamas!◊ This is where it will end, by my hand. That man sounds like someone to be treated with silk gloves. Arrrgh, must be frustrating.
If there's anything you'd like me to do, let me know!

[1]I’d very much like to join in on the ass-kicking.
Plus, I don’t always solely use my M1 Garand for stuff like this:

Image would show a view of Morgan’s back. It shows a scoped Lee-Enfield Rifle No. 4 and an MG 42 on straps hanging on his shoulder and placed on his back, with a box of clips for the former and 3 belt containers for the latter on his hip.

Yo buddies, still tropin’?
Exactly what weapons you have could not matter less. Do you have control over the elements? Or some other way to down an Abyss Mage's shield? (just shooting it is inviable.)
“You carry the aura of the stars, interesting...”
I am the demigod of ice and thunder, and surely this soldier is powerful as well. Just how strong is this coward if you fear him so?
Basically girl Beetlejuice and a big candle, but the skins are better than they sound.
The higher ranked Harbingers are on par with Archons. Gods.
“You carry the aura of the stars, interesting...”
If such a fool could harness such power, then your gods are cowards.
Basically girl Beetlejuice and a big candle, but the skins are better than they sound.Perhaps they want to be rather considerate with said powers, it could be dangerous if it's that impactful.
With great power comes great responsibility and that can certainly apply to deities as well in some cases.

Meet the Tamas!◊ This is where it will end, by my hand.Hey Aether, can the element of surprise break an Abyss Mage‘s shield?
Also I imagine the heat buildup from all the bullets you would fire into this shield would eventually break it… but by that point, you would‘ve gone through pretty much a whole minigun mag already, and considering that you probably won‘t take out the mage before he recovers his shield…

Unless you happen to be fighting a Pyro Mage. In which case heat buildup does nothing.

“You carry the aura of the stars, interesting...”
Can you explain what that is?
Because Morgan said about quickly testing out something, and he mentioned a “Mage”. Is that related what you were mentioning here?
Yo buddies, still tropin’?
Maybe... An Abyss Mage is a monster from Teyvat. They put up elemental shields. Those elemental shields only break upon contact with other elements that react with them. Also tell him not to do that, because that's a horrible idea.
“You carry the aura of the stars, interesting...”
Ok…
About that, I haven’t had any contact back with him since the previous post I did with you…

Oh dear gods.
“You carry the aura of the stars, interesting...”Oh, for the love of… if that guy can‘t hold himself to any safety standards, he should not have access to the means of multiverse traveling. I‘m currently in my pyjamas.
Aether, any chance you could take his portal tech away? I think we‘d honestly all feel much safer that way. If necessary, I can still put on my jacket and come over
I‘m trying to reduce my media consumption, so I will be unavailable for the next couple of hours, even over Discord!

I'll handle it. I'll DM you if something comes up. You can come pick up the portal stuff tomorrow, because I don't want it.
“You carry the aura of the stars, interesting...”
Don't bother, Morgan, an M1 Garand is not nearly enough to fight in Tevyat. Maybe against some hilichurls and slimes, but as soon as your enemies start getting smarter - say, an Abyss Mage or a Ruin Hunter - you'll either need a lot of patience or a lot of ammo.
Aether - do you think some memorial to the Doctor's victims would be appropriate? I can try to hook up Albedo and some EV designers on that project, if you'd like.
