I suppose I'll get it started then.
So! With all that's been going on in recent updates, it seems like the story is winding down to a definitive close. Considering the material we've got so far, I'm judging this could probably fit into two 1-cour series, or one 2-cour series, since I can't think of any really good midway point to serve as a season closer right off the bat. Maybe when Mob fights that one other psychic kid and goes ??? mode?

You mean Teru?? That'd be waaaay to short, like 4/5 episodes short. To me a season closer would be around the end of the claw arc (the one where the scar are introduced......and subsequently defeated.)

Ah, you're right. It's been a while since I read the earlier chapters, so I forgot how early on that was.
I get a feeling that the ending will be Mob getting an invite from Hero Association and become BLAST.
It would be a very humorous way of connecting ONE's works together,

Watch SymphogearWhoever worked on the Mob Psycho 100 page needed to organize editing priorities, compare the main page to the characters one.

Honestly, that's what I think may happen too. It's never outright stated, but the theory is that Mob Psycho takes place before Onepunch Man, and the appearance of things like spirits and espers is the prelude to the appearance of super-powered humans and mysterious beings.
On the other hand, Saitama phone wallpaper.

There's a little issue with trying to link Onepunch Man and Mob Psycho though — the timeframe.
Little bits of dialogue in Onepunch man from the Hero Association members point to the monster phenomenon being going on for decades, and only hitting the dangerous numbers shown in Onepunch man only recently.
In Mob Psycho though, we've heard nothing about kaijin, and even the ghosts shown in Mob are still treated with disbelief by the population at large. And this doesn't even take into consideration the naming scheme of the cities...
And the giant continent shaped like Saitama prefecture OPM takes place on.
Oh man, that latest chapter. What looked like a giant mushroom cloud was actually just a huge broccoli plant growing from some seeds Mob had in his pocket. He must have contained and transferred all the energy from the blast into them.
And now, to pull this thread back from the brink, I present: Preview 2!
Smooth as fuck animation and some glorious Special Effects? Count me in.
First episode of the anime is out.
Watch SymphogearSo, they put chapter one and one of the omakes into the first episode, and also expanded it a bit.
Guess it gives you a feel for the characters before the plot kicks off.
Also I saw broccoli in the opening. That's pertaining to really recent manga stuff, so I'm wondering of they'll actually get that far or it's just a teaser.
Speaking of, that opening is on-point.

Nice Saitama cameo on the flip phone, they kept it in. I'm surprised it was kept in.
Watch SymphogearIt looks like there are also pages of the One Punch webcomic mixed into the manga montage in the title card.
Oh, I also swear one of the rebels in the opening sequence is supposed to be Josuke.

That ED animation tho.
i. hear. a. sound.Utterly gorgeous.
Episode 2: All the jokes had obvious punchlines... though I'm warming up to Reigen and Mob which is good.
Episode 3: I super love that someone who's asked to show off psychic powers actually gets to do exactly that.
Mob's funny dorkiness really shines here. (Mob loves milk XD)
He also literally shines when kicking evil spirit butt

I really loved the animation style, humor, and writing in episodes 1 and 2, but episode 3 hooked me. Hard. Guess I'll have to read it now.
Seriously. I never believed in the 3-episode rule but dear god this went from neat to frickin' awesome in one episode. Mob gets a ton of characterization here.
I was planning to read the manga chapters along the episodes as they got released, but got curious and decided to read ahead a little bit.
...I am now 40 chapters in and I can't stop...

Just saw an ad for Crunchyroll's simulcast of this on Chiller (cable channel), which really surprised me. A friend of mine told me he saw an ad for it in the theater before Star Trek. I think Crunchyroll might be pushing this to be the next big thing.
