Some youtube-shit happened 3 days ago.
- Danco has been plagiarizing his content
- Key Issues is trying to take him down with a diss video
Danco is (was) one of those "Comic book character of the month vs Comic book character of te month" content creators.
Apparently his content is plagiarizing other Youtubers. I'd noticed some of his videos stole the "Why x VS y ISN'T CLOSE" format the "powerscaling community" seems to like and were becoming a lot more homogenous.
Key Issues on the other hand I saw fewer "Versus" videos but I guess they were into that too. I'm not fond of how they defended themselves - even if they are 100 percent correct, they've got a really aggressive attitude about how right they are, as if Danco had publicly attacked them. Key Issues is going to each comment on the video (above) liking everybody who agrees with them.
This is the most toxic s#!t I've seen this week.

Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).So I have a odd question: Does anyone here remember a channel called Zen and Cyrrene? It was a Let's Play channel that did a variety of games though he was most noteworthy for his The Binding of Isaac challenge runs. Currently his channel has been renamed to Zen Turns A Page and it has no videos. I know this is somewhat off topic I just felt like sharing. Wow wonderful. Another plagiarist on the site though I didn’t expect one in the comic book side of You Tube.

Aaaaand this guy is...?
To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."It's literally written in the post. You can try reading it lol.

To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."I grammar-checked my post, but yeah, it's all there.
What gets me is
- plagiarism occurred
- the person noting it begins with "so here's why I'm right, everybody else is an idiot, I already made a video with all my evidence so now I can spend 3-6 minutes dissing the other person"
- they have receipts', so maybe they're 99 percent right but
- they're going to each individual comment to like it, so clearly there's some personal stake in this
- they even commented right at the top telling the other person to delete their channel
All you needed to do was go "Danco Plagiarism rumors" and then calmly explain your viewpoint.
Matter of fact Key Issues didn't need to make this video at all. They're not a Youtube channel like James Franco or Yongyea or Turkey Tom that normally talk about other Youtubers.
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).James Franco has a YouTube channel that talks about other YouTubers? Or did you mean Philip DeFranco?

Hitokiri in the streets, daishouri in the sheets.Yongyea talks about other youtubers? since when
Most of the time he reads kotaku or reddits threads at people about videogames.
Philip Defranco I swear I get their identities mixed up because they're the only two people I've heard of with "Franco" in their name.
And I'm relatively sure I've seen him post videos that were "so this happened on Youtube involving this person" if not as his main source of content, unless I'm mistaken.
From a quick check I did find one in his library and it was more him defending himself from a theft accusation, so I may be wrong there.

Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).Was Internet Anarchist that guy with the Nazi dogwhistle crap, or was that Internet Historian? I'm honestly losing track.
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).Internet Historian definitely is.
Never heard of the other.

I’ve had. He reminds me of Sunnyv 2 who is basically a dime a dozen commentary youtuber.
Ugh, this is why I hate watching video game stuff in youtube. You watch a trailer or a retrospective and suddenly you get recommended with a bunch losers raging at Nintendo on something baseless or pointless.
Death is a companion. We should cherish Death as we cherish Life. You can tell the app to stop recommending any channels that do that. They'll still show up in searches, but not in recommendations.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"I do, but they seem to pop out like daisies.
Death is a companion. We should cherish Death as we cherish Life.Yeah I’ve noticed even after I’ve asked it not to recommend some channels they still eventually pop back up if I watch a video that is only loosely connected to it from another You Tuber.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.I usually click on the "Don't Recommend this Channel" option. Sometimes that works.
I love animation, TV, movies, YOU NAME IT!YouTube Desktop seems to have reverted to the previous layout
Ukrainian Red CrossI wish that we could do the whole "Don't Recommend This Channel" thing via search results, since sometimes I look up gameplay videos and I sometimes see this one YouTuber who seems to be quite popular on YouTube, but I don't want to watch them because one of their videos gave me major red flags.
I've definitely made liberal use of the "Don't Recommend This Channel" function on the homepage.
I had to use the "don't recommend this channel" after I kept getting bullshit alt-right manosphere and revisionist channels with "confederates and nazis did nothing wrong" after going through men's health issues searches and WWII documentaries searches because the algorithm related both.
Inter arma enim silent legesI do "don't recommend this channel" often, but I watched a single Marvel Ultimate Alliance mod showcase a month ago, de-recommended the channel, and Youtube keeps showing me different channels focused on that game instead. I've given up, it's like a digital hydra.
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).What was so bad about that mod showcase that you had to unrecommend the channel? And that hydra comment is very appropriate since HYDRA is a group in the Marvel Universe. Maybe they're why you keep getting recommended those videos.
Nah, the mod was fine, but they kept throwing new mod showcases in my feed everyday. I started de-recommending the channels in the hope it would discourage Youtube from showing me new mods... and I still get one or two that pop through. So either there's just that many channels with mod showcases, or Youtube's convinced I really want to see more mod showcases.
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).
It's a relaxing game. It's also a game to watch vtubers play.
Burning love!
