I saw this on another forum on a website far, far away and thought it looked like fun enough to bring to your attention.
To put it simply:
We create a fictional compilation album consisting of total 12 songs each. Each user has to copy and paste adding only one song to the album, so in the end it's 12 songs, one per user, and each album has to have a different theme.
Whoever adds the last song on the album gets to decide the theme for the next album and then it starts all over again. Please avoid using multiple songs from the same artists in each category.
For example:
Poster 1: "Songs about or that reference U.S.A.
- Tom Petty - American Girl"
Poster 2: "Songs about or that reference U.S.A.
- Tom Petty - American Girl
- Miley Cyrus - Party in the U.S.A."
...Until Poster 12: "Songs about or that reference U.S.A.
- Tom Petty - American Girl
- Miley Cyrus - Party in the U.S.A.
- Bruce Springsteen - Born in the U.S.A.
- David Bowie - Young Americans
- The Beach Boys - Surfin' U.S.A.
- The Sounds - Living in America
- Marina & Diamonds - Hollywood
- The Gaslight Anthem - American Slang
- Testament - True American Hate
- U2 - Bullet the Blue Sky
- Green Day - American Idiot
- Don Mc Lean - American Pie
New Compilation: Songs that are over 10 minutes long.
- Avantasia - The Seven Angels"
The topic can and preferably will be more specific and imaginative than 'Songs about U.S.A.' It can be anything! Your favourite song by your favourite artist, songs about wild animals, songs that feature over 2 minutes of guitar solos, a song that reminds you of last summer. Go wild!
To start this off with something relatively easy, I'm going to go with this:
Songs about burning or fire.
- The Trammps - Disco Inferno
