• Any movie ever starring Rock Hudson, now that we know more about his personal life.

Now that the author of Harry Potter has openly endorsed TERF viewpoints on Twitter, the existence of gender in her work takes a much darker tone.

• Any work with a ninja is harsher due to the enforced rules about face coverings during the COVID-19 pandemic.

• NWA's "Fuck Da Police" is Harsher in Hindsight given the George Floyd protests.

That "Help the Police" video on Bowdlerize is even harsher because it's suggesting we should help the officers who shot him.

Any good cop is Harsher in Hindsight nowadays, including PAW Patrol and Kindergarten Cop.

In Cave Story, there is a boss called The Core. In Undertale, there is a location called The CORE. Absolute god-tier Hilarious in Hindsight guys!

This is based on some expiriences I've had with You Tube comments, which always claim that things that were made BEFORE Undertale are "Undertale references", especially if the reason why it's a "reference" is a common trope

Nirvana’s, “All Apologies” has the line “Everyone is gay.” They predicted the LGBTQ movements. Hilarious in Hindsight.

This reference gets even funnier after the release of Gradius, in which enemy bosses are defeated by aiming for the core.

Elder Pride singing about Orlando in The Book of Mormon is harsher after an incident where an older woman got motion sickness at Universal Studios Orlando.

This is based off some Old Shame where I made a very similar FAM entry, except used the Pulse nightclub massacre as the thing that made it harsher. It was right after it happened and seemed like a bigger deal at the time.

Roswell, New Mexico became funnier after the Roswell UFO Incident.

In Diamond is Unbreakable, Rohan kills a spider, years later in Ultimate Spiderman, Peter Parker dies.

A 2001 strip of The Adventures Of Nerd Boy makes a crack about Ice Climber being old. Now, nineteen years later, Nerd Boy is old.

Pokémon Vietnamese Crystal's "trashy man" line is already funny... then years later, Yakuza Kiwami is released and includes a trashcan as one of Majima's hiding places, making him a literal "trashy man".

• Homer Simpson went back in time and sneezed on a T-rex, which causes all the dinosaurs to go extinct. In the wake of COVID-19 that's not funny any more.

The crows in Dumbo are a lot less funny in the wake of COVID, since it sounds kinda like "corvid" which is the scientific name for crows.

• Marriage Story is a lot harsher after the 2020 presidential election season which caused a lot more fighting between families.

In 1977 North Korea made a cartoon called Squirrel and Hedgehog about badass "freedom fighter" squirrels and hedgehogs. In 1993, Americans made Sonic the Hedgehog (SatAM) which is about a badass freedom fighter squirrel and hedgehog. Hilarious in Hindsight!

• Similarly, Batman beating up cops in Arkham Origins and Barbara and Anarkys speeches about the broken system are Harsher in Hindsight after the increase of police brutality, Donald Trump's election, and the George Floyd protests.

The signature fight between DIO and Jotaro using their stands in Jo Jos Bizarre Adventure Stardust Crusaders becomes Hilarious in Hindsight as due to social distancing due to COVID-19 all fights must now be fought from a safe distance of 2 meters.

• Harsher in Hindsight: Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiego had a villian named named Vic the Slick. Years later, Vic Mignogna was proven a sexual assulter.
