I think it's ok to use the fact-checking thread for Artistic License entries.
Macron's notesIs there a thread for splitting lumped-together work pages for a series (particularily something common to video game pages) into individual ones for each separate work? I could swear I saw one at some point but I can't find it... and if not, I'm wondering if we should have one since there's been several splits like that recently

"Leftover items still have value!"If there is a cleanup project for splitting up work pages, I am not aware of it. Sounds like a good thread to have.
Macron's notesIs there a thread for cleaning up Walkthrough Mode. Cause I found a few examples that feel like that.
from The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki
- Nerf: For players who just went through Cold Steel and Reverie, players are in for a nasty surprise when a lot of powerful things in those games got nerfed hard in Kuro I. Some examples include:
- If a character evades an attack, there is only a 50% chance the one who evaded will counterattack instead of a guaranteed counterattack unless the "Camio" Hollow Core is equipped.
- Cooking can only be done at the inn, Van's office, or at the end of a dungeon's orbal station (depicted as yellow instead of blue). Better pack up as much as possible before setting out.
- While inns are now free, they no longer restore CP. Players will need to take a bath at the sauna and they're only available sporadically.
- Unlike Master Quartzes where they give the character the bonuses right away, Hollow Cores need to spend a S-Boost in battle to reap the bonuses from the Hollow Cores. And S-Boosting only lasts 2 turns if used once (three turns if S-Boost is used twice).
- Players also need to spend two S-Boosts if players want to use a S-Craft to prevent spamming S-Crafts in general. To compensate however, S-Crafts now only cost 100 CP and no longer have the more powerful 200 CP option which means characters can throw out two S-Crafts in a row if a character has 200 CP, which also increases the the amount of S-Boost Gauges which always starts at three every battle. In Kuro II, this is nerfed even further by not letting the character use two S-Breaks in a row, requiring the character wait a few turns before they can use it again.
- Players can no longer steal turn bonuses by manipulating Delay or using S-breaks, due to the turn order timeline being split into two. If a character uses a S-break in an attempt to steal an enemy's (or ally's) critical turn or anything similar, the turn bonus STAYS with the character it's assigned to, not reassigned to the character you just used a S-break on. Unless you've set up your orbments' Drive Line with the pre-requisite element values, which even then only gives a 25% chance to steal a turn bonus (100% when 2 S-boosts are used), good luck enduring an enemy's S-craft if ever they get a critical turn.

She/Her | Currently cleaning N/AStarted a thread for splitting works into separate pages
"Leftover items still have value!"So despite the Let's Play namespace being deprecated last year (as proven in this edit) there are still a sizeable amount of pages under that namespace. I have no idea which part of the forums I should go to talk about this, or if I should just leave it alone.
I'm lovin' it. (My Troper Wall)I have something about the Get Help with English Thread I want to talk about, but I don't think GHWE itself is a good place to talk about it. Where should I go?
I'm lovin' it. (My Troper Wall)First off, what do you want to ask?
Macron's notesI believe the OP is incredibly vague and needs expansion/clarification.
I'm lovin' it. (My Troper Wall)Well, if you have an idea on how to rewrite it, you are free to holler us the draft you want use for the OP and/or post your suggested changes on the GHWE thread for feedback.
Macron's notesis there a Memetic Mutation cleanup thread?
Stan GaruKaru for clear skinMemetic X Cleanup, I'd think it'd include that and other "Memetic" tropes.

No child should have to think of selling medication for food. Are you afraid?Do we have a thread for cleaning up excessive potholes/sinkhole issues?
CSP Cleanup Thread | All that I ask for ... is diamonds and dance floorsDo we have a thread for Designated Hero? It seems like it really needs it given that the The Hero is apparently in Trope Repair Shop and the entries are just a mess. The trope seems to have a tight definition, but a lot of it just seems to be complaining about protagonists the troper doesn't like.
Designated Hero/Villain Clean Up
(Annoyed grunt)I found a Trivia example for Old Shame that was missed during TRS cleanup. Where should I go to discuss it? My best guess is the Is this an example? thread but I'm not sure about that.
I'm lovin' it. (My Troper Wall)Is there a thread for discussions about Unpublished Works?
I'm lovin' it. (My Troper Wall)I can't find anywhere.
Is there anywhere to request help in constructing a page image? Like asking for Photoshop help and stuff?
Disambig Needed: Help with those issues! tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13324299140A37493800&page=24#comment-576Where can I report plagiarism?
ValdoI'd like to petition for a cleanup for the Fanboy and Fangirl pages for continuous misuse, seen in both page examples and work examples.
The Hobby and Pastime Tropes index defines the two tropes as the following:
- Fanboy: An obsessive fan of a particular activity with a condescending, holier-than-thou attitude.
- Fangirl: An obsessive fan of a story who loves to ship the characters together, particularly the male characters.
Meanwhile, the Fandom index doesn't have a definition for Fangirl, but has this:
- Fanboy: A fan (usually male) who defines their fanhood by how much trivia they know.
Both trope pages acknowledge that under the intended trope definitions, there can be male Fangirls and female Fanboys, but most of the examples are gendered in the sense of "female fan" = Fangirl, "male fan" = Fanboy. The fact that Fangirl is listed under Always Female doesn't help.
Because of this recurring trend, I think both tropes should be renamed/split with cleanup, while making the current pages sandboxes, perhaps for reference. The new trope names should preferably be gender-neutral to prevent future confusion. I feel that new fandom tropes could also be launched to account for other recurring trends in the portrayal of fandom in fiction.
I also feel like there should be a restriction on real-life examples (if not an outright ban) because this can get... controversial.
My working trope renames:
- Fanboy (may be split into multiple tropes):
- All Fans are Trivia Nerds
- Obsessive Fan / Creepily/Insufferably Obsessive Fan (this may create confusion with Loony Fan; emphasis should be placed on "even the celebrity figure is creeped out" for that one)
- Condescending Fan
- Fanboy Stereotype
- Fangirl:
- All Fans Are Shippers (personal preference)
- Fangirl Stereotype
- The Fanboy and Fangirl URL would then all redirect to Fandom or another page to prevent further misuse.
Related tropes that some of the current examples should be moved to:
- Celeb Crush: A character has a crush on a celebrity.
Some proposed new tropes (the trope launch pad would be a future step only when we've ironed out more of the details):
- Meeting Your Heroes: When a fan meets or otherwise is acknowledged by a celebrity in person, through work, concerts, conventions, etc. This also applies if a fan wants this for themself. No real life examples (too common); may overlap with The Knights Who Say "Squee!". (I think there's quite a lot of examples across both pages, and just off the top of my head, I can think of at least three.)
- Overly Enthusiastic Fan [if this were to be a trope, please rename it as this current working name sounds a bit generic and may attract misuse]: A fan desperately wants to help their hero. (Syndrome would be a dark example of this, probably played for drama and/or horror.)
- [currently unnamed trope]: A fan believes the celebrity could do no wrong and/or would do anything for them (Loony Fan would be a subtrope if the celebrity is creeped out by this). No real life examples (controversy).

they/she; editor of Minecraft SMPsI forget, do we have a cleanup for the "ball" tropes? (Idiot Ball, Jerkass Ball, etc)
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure Pureness
Is there a thread for proof-reading Artistic License entries or the Factchecking Thread can double for it? It's hard to say if an example is valid if you require specialized education.
