The automatons are attempting to seize Lesath and the defense currently rests on a knife's edge with 2.5 hours left, if people want a story thing to do while waiting for the next MO to fire.
We are also making surprising progress on Hellmore, over a third of the bar has been filled.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Just coming here after the news, I got to say I haven't seen a situation like this since the second Star Wars Battlefront II (2017) years ago, it's definitely going to make it into the history of gaming.
Instead of focusing on relatives that divide us, we should find the absolutes that tie us.Normally things like this do not work.
Normally the studio doesn't encourage people to do it. This is a rare case of the studio outright coming out and saying, "Yeah we want you to refund and review bomb the game so we can fight the publisher."
I love Managed Democracy.
Anyway this is great. The studio listened.
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."Its rare to see a publisher cave in when their bottom line is threatened.
Watch SymphogearVery good to see Sony backtrack on this. This blew up way too much and they needed to just reset it and take the L and find another way forward with future games. I'm assuming this will also mean the game is relisted in the countries where it was removed, since the thing that prompted the delisting in the first place is no longer valid.
If any good thing comes from this it's that it gets Sony to start taking its region support a lot more seriously, if only to help expand in the PC market especially since they must work with Steam to do so. It's one thing for a company to not care about its own TOS agreement, it's another for that company to ask another to do the same and have the peace of mind that nothing will come from it. Official expansion will unfortunately take quite a bit of time because of the infrastructure involved (and to be clear Sony not doing this sooner is their fault) so there needs to be something in the interim - I won't take credit for it but the idea of whitelisting the unsupported regions and exempting them from requiring a PSN account until it becomes officially supported is IMO the quickest and most diplomatic way of handling it.
Now, none of this addresses the initial reason this whole thing blew up in the first place, which is people just not wanting to make a PSN account if they don't have to and didn't have to previously. That's a bandage that's just gonna be ripped off at some point, especially when a future game like Marathon is able to commit to the requirement day-1. Honestly as long as the unsupported regions aren't swept in I think it'll overall be fine, plus anything that creates an exemption leaves behind a hole for the truly committed to use - the whitelist idea above wouldn't do anything about people straight-up lying about their home region, for example.

Ghost of Tsushima 's online components will require PSN day 1 and that comes out next week.
So, I guess it's late to the party now, but Penny Arcade did a comic about the Helldivers 2 controversy. Though if you read the post about the comic placed underneath it, they acknowledge that he issue is now resolved.

x11 On a similar note, the next major order has been issued. The Meridian supercolony has spread spores to near-by planets and caused Terminid outbreaks on them. We have four days to liberate the worlds of Keeth, Veld, Angel's Venture, and Acamar IV.
This is bad. We have a second Kepler Prime effectively right in our backyard. I say we just call it a lost cause and glass Meridia with nukes already.
It's not about the gold; it's about the glory. It would be such a Chad move if the devs celebrated the Sony problem's resolution by just casually dropping the Illuminates in without announcement.
They one-upped that move by making the steam negative review bars an in-game cape to wear.
I love this dev.

What you saw was a fan mock-up. No cape like that exist.
TL;DR Sights were fixed, Do T damage is fixed, and crash fixes.
For anyone who's interested in the behind-the-scenes math, here's a reddit thread containing some behind-the-scenes math of how damage is calculated.
Unfortunately, I think the new patch ended up causing crashes. I crashed three times in a row today, that never happened before. And from what I heard, I'm not the only one.
Double post
The new warbond came out today but reception to it(specifically the weapons) seems to be mixed.
New major order: destroy 2 billion automatons to get the anti-tank mines. They fixed the bug that massively boosted the amount of kills we were credited for in the terminid version, so expect this one to take more than 12 hours.
Thanks to 2 straight orders fighting Terminids I have basically no experience with bots.
Are they all armored or something? Nothing I do seems to hurt them. And how am I supposed to fight hulks? Chargers I can dodge and hit them from behind. Hulks just gun me down without letting me get behind.
#IceBearForPresidentHulk eye slits are their frontal weakpoint, rocket launchers and railguns can kill them in one hit and other high-medium penetration weapons (HMG, Laser Cannon, Autocannon, AMR) also make short work of them. Their joints are also weakpoints, but take longer to destroy. Alternatively, stun them with EMS strikes/stun grenades to get behind them or coordinate with your team to flank and destroy them.
Devastator-class enemies have medium armor over most of their bodies, aim for their heads, joints, or backpack to inflict damage with light penetration primaries. Any weapon above around 125 damage per shot can one-shot a devastator to the head, although the further you are away the higher that threshold becomes. You can also use any support weapon other than the stalwart or cluster rocket to punch through them, they're a big part of the reason bot loadouts tend to favor medium penetration weapons over rockets.
Troopers have some light armor but the same general weakpoints as devastators.
Generally speaking bots reward precision over rate of fire.

I love democracy
Pantheon server for all who click here. Freaking lost $410 and I am hunting down for a nuke to reign down.
