though thats less an obscure take dominates the image and more... which translation got to the masses first

Like how Odysseus is seen as villain in Dante's time cause they didn't really have access to the original Illiad and Odyssey, but Roman stories more focusing on the Trojans.

Unrelated but I think it would be cool if one of the weapons was a reference to another Supergiant Games game, like the Transistor sword.

...somebody wanted this changed to include the sequel? First I've seen that here.

I have a theory about Melinoe and how her domains might work.

In mythology, Melinoe is goddess of ghosts and nightmares. A gameplay mechanic could be going into dreams and waking people up by either dispelling or causing nightmares—likely starting with Hypnos as a tutorial mechanic.

I finally got to the epilogue of the first game. Right now more than half of my Aspects are still not at full power yet, and I only have 2 unupgraded Companions.

I found a funny video of the final boss being defeated while AFK thanks to very specific boons.

I hope Odysseus' dog appears in the game.

I'll probably get it once its finished since I'm strapped for cash. It would be cool to follow the game through Early Access, but it's probably best to wait.

Also, Hades 2 is gameinformer's cover game this month

Do keep me posted on if Hades 2 is an innovative sequel or Hades 1 but more and better. I'm fine with either. Hot damn. Hades 1 followed a "Quality over Quantity" philosophy but was still a pretty big game. Hades 2 being this big already is tempting me. I probably wouldn't have bought Sonic Superstars on sale if I knew this was coming out.

Reached the goal I set myself for today and made it past Hecate. Died pretty quickly afterwards though.

I'm really liking Hephaestus and Hestias boons so far.

Feels good to be back, this already has pretty much made my week.
